What was the point of this movie and why did critics cream themselves over it?
Also, why does Rose Glass keep making films about the lesbian experience despite being over 9000% heterosexual herself? Weird niche to fill as a straight woman.

That poster is a fucking disaster on every level and they both look way worse on it than in the movie.

Anon, that is cückold behavior.
You should limit your enjoyment of viewing Katy O'Brian to her kinos in both film and television.

>what was the point of the movie
It's about love. Specifically it's about the vicious cycle of domestic abuse. Ed Harris beat on his wife and probably killed her. Dave Franco beat on KStew's sister and probably would have killed her. KStew asked why she would possibly stay with him and was told she would understand when she was in love

Kstew then falls in love with musclegirl and is abused by her.
>why did critics cream themselves over it?
It's a good movie to start with and critics love lgbt representation in the mainstream.

>what's the point?!
not every piece of art needs a clear thesis, its up to you, the viewer, the ascribe meaning to what you're seeing
>why'd critics like it
After a decade of movies where an actor on gear depicts a selfless hero, it was a nice change of pace to see a depiction of the median steroid user, a dumb narcissist whose hormone addled brain tells their juiced up body to start enacting violent control over their immediate surroundings
