what role will AI play in the future of cinema?any filmmakers or editors here incorporating these tools into your workflow?for me its audio isolation (the Clear plugin for Logic cleans up unwanted noise well), basic gen fill in Photoshop for image adjustments and recroppings, upscaling with Topaz, making background music with Suno, and genning and animating shots out of whole cloth with Nano Banana and Kling
digital effects will be better for sure
>>219464985This scene but Emma Myers in the middle flanked by Jenna Ortega and Xochitl Gomez
>>219465045its almost a cliche at this point but right now with basic consumer tools (you) are able to make a scene in 15 minutes (seconds?) that would've taken months and months and tons of money 10 years agoexample: files dot catbox dot moe slash 2npa8m dot mp4of course this will lead to a lot of junk content but itll also open up new lanes for joe schmo to make studio level stuff. boundaries will start to blur

>>219464985this webm is funnier than anything made by will ferrell, jonah hill and adam sandler combined

it will be "incredible as a tool for machines to help creativity" - David Lynch

Maybe it'll be a valid style of animation some day. No idea. It will always be something separate from live action film, though. That much is obvious.I personally strongly, strongly dislike generative AI in its current form and I don't think much that's worthwhile has come out of it. But I do think the stuff Damon Packard does is... kinda cute.https://youtu.be/ZQF9Y2V_wkg

>>219465427the most likely scenario
>>219466250>will always be something separate from live action film, thoughthat's where it gets interesting. fully generated AI films, yea that's still a different category. but what about partially? what about a movie that shoots the actors traditionally but uses Ai background replacement, lighting or clothing changes, maybe they used AI storyboards, etc. does a movie assisted b AI still count as a 'traditional' movie just because you can't see the strings of AI, so it looks invisible to the end user? (how many viewers can tell when a background has been replaced in a show, not many)it becomes a ship of theseus situation. similar to the boundary between 'what is a CGI film VS a normal movie with some CGI in it'
>>219464985Good coom edits of existing scenes would be fine by me>full length explicit scene of MEW in Death Proof after shes left by her friends>expanded and explicit ass to ass scene
when can i use AI to remove women and black people from mediainstead of YIFY releases we have can CHUDY releases
>>219466547or in the other direction, what about a script written by AI but then filmed traditionally with actors and a director on a sound stage? The Comeback s3 is doing exactly that this season, will be interesting to see where they land. new episode gave a very slight W to AI use in hollywood with the admission that it can do cheesy comedy well enough, Val admits they didn't have a scene and then they did, recognizing its main power, as a production engine for getting shit done faster

>>219467326the colour didn't change. the particles that make up the sail were put back together in a way that reflects red light instead of blue light
>>219464985I would rewrite and edit The Drama so that she actually goes through with it at the wedding. As for how I use AI as a creative with regards to my writing, most of the ideas are my own, but my ideas are a disorganized mess and AI helps me to create a flow that feels natural and easy to read. Also, I sort of treat AI the same way a writers club could be treated by bouncing ideas around in conversation and making edits.
>>219464985Post the webm, fucko!
>>219464985Zendaya is taller than either of them
>>219468279
>>219464985the fuck is any of that tryhard shit? i just input scenes i like then i watch what i get raw in order, opening each video one at a time, and it works. anything more than that is unironically too much work and you're better off paying some other faggot to do it
>>219467530>so that she actually goes through with it at the wedding.I was expecting there to at least be a fakeout or dream sequence where she does it, the movie was by the director of Dream Scenario for god's sake. but no, nothing.
