Last episode made no sense. Why did the NY governor have to find out about the free port via Karen? Isn't that something she should have already known? Why was Matt surprised that Fisk killed the men on the boat? Fisk has killed dozens maybe even hundreds of people by this point why is he shocked now?

Why is nobody acknowledging that the Mayor of New York has it under lockdown, when even the Avengers are now corporate owned? How are all these street-guys still not done with cleaning up New York? The problem is that the Avengers name has become synonymous with the big blockbuster that ties up the overarching stories, so they can't do a mid-level threat. An Avengers movie has to be special. 2028 is pretty much confirmed to be BP3 and X-Men, plus either FF2 or DS3. Then 2029 is probably going to be SM5, either FF2 or DS3, and then another X-Related movie. Then you factor in things like Scarlet Witch, Midnight Sons and so on. With them having the X-Men they'll start milking them with spin-offs. X-Force, Wolverine, Deadpool, X-Factor, all of them in rotation. Avengers will go back to a movie every 4 years or so, I don't see it any other way.Yeah, realistically Dex isn't getting anywhere near the real Avengers. But I do think he's got a chance of being promoted to the wider Val storyline as time goes on, however that plays.
