The years 1965-1975 were the true golden age of television. Shows which remain popular even 'til today; shows that (on reruns broadcast today) still bring in a larger share than new shows being produced. What are your favorites? See Image for Hogan's Heroes, 1965-1971, which was an example of everything right in a TV showhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058812/

>>219477026I'd love to watch these old series but I absolutely can't stand the laugh tracks. Is there any tech to strip the canned laughter out of the audio?
>>219477026As a kid in the 70s I remember watching:Streets of San FranciscoRockford Files6 Million Dollar ManEmergency!Brady BunchThe BeachcombersThe Muppet ShowBugs Bunny Roadrunner HourBig Blue MarbleThe Electric CompanySalvage OneThe Carol Burnette ShowIn Search Of...The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew MysteriesBewitchedThere were many other shows and cartoons but these were my favourites.
>>219477026Wasn't the star of Hogan's Heroes a notorious sexhaver and he got one of the cameramen from the show to film him bang all sorts of babes? Or am I getting him mixed up?
I wish dialogue was still written like this era
>>219481158I just googled it and its even worse than that. His son launched a website where you could watch his dad's porn movies. He claims he did it only to prove that his father never had a penile implant, but he charged money for access to the porn. How fucked is that.
>>219481158The version of the story as I remember it:> Bob Crane, the star of the show (he played Hogan), liked to film self-porn, and was an early adopter of home video (as opposed to film), which got him connected with another guy, who was really into the tech of video. At some point (and still officially unsolved), someone murdered Crane; and the whole sex on tape thing leaked out>>219481111> emergencyThe show lied; D5W and Ringers Lactate doesn't solve every medical problem in the world> Salvage OneIs that the one where a random dude goes up in space to scrap a rocket (or space station) abandoned by the government?> Nancy DrewIt's worth watching Pamela Sue Martin in "The Lady in Red" at least once> Six Million Dollar ManOvernight, an entire generation of kids started running in slow motion>>219480527Good luck with that. The 60's did away with the hassle of a live audience, but they still wanted some sort of feedback cues, so we were stuck with the laugh track. Oddly, the future alternative Roman Empire in the star trek episode also used a form of laugh track (cheers and boos)
The pretender was gold.
