It’s revealed that the facility has been turned into a hive and the task force finds the mangled but still just barely operable remains of Kirsch who reveals the xenomorphs dragged eggs up from the lab to implant the human prisoners. One burster hatches out into a queen and the xenos immediately turn on Wendy and co. when the young queen decides Wendy’s ability to communicate commands is a threat. Kirsch also reveals that the task force aren’t the only team to have been sent and that all of the kids except Nibs got gibbed when they tried to put up a fight. Nibs only survived because her already fucked up mind led to her essentially going feral and start mimicking the xenos/helping them harvest hosts from the previous teams. The task force has to find a way to kill the queen while dodging xenos and a psychotic android with a dubiously loyal Kirsch in tow.
