It was bold making a comedy show with no jokes.

>no jokes
And no style, and no talent, and no chemistry...
Every scene in this show feels as if each actor was delivering his or her lines to a blank wall as opposed to another human being across from them. None of the cast pull off "rural hick" even a little bit. Baffling that it ever had a following.

I stopped watching after the Fartbook episode. It was infuriating on how unfunny it was.
>>
Only exists because 19-2 was good and they wanted home grown stars. Well there you go, hire a guy who played the english language version of a french canadian police drama actor as a lead comic actor for national tv reasons and you get shit

Shoresy's good. But I'm biased. I'm a Zamboni operator.

Pretty bold critiquing a show when you have no sense of humour.

I watched a few seasons. Every episode is the same. Characters stand or sit in one spot, then they read their lines monotone with little expression except quieter or louder. Everyone has the most clever thing possible to say. Every joke is repeated and pounded into the ground relentlessly. There's a slo-mo fight with loud music that the main characters never lose. Every girl is impossibly hot for rural Ontario. Then as the show goes on the DEI and faggotry gradually increases and it becomes clearer the writers secretly hate their audience.

>the thingy
>the thingymajig
>the thingymajig schlimymajig
>I schlimymajig your mom
>your dad schlimymajig
>and that’s why we don’t thingymajig
I fucking despise this show

The episode he pulled up and there was a black woman in the back seat of his ski-doo like it was some big reveal, I stopped watching.

Same. My friend knows I love TPB and he and his wife demanded we watch the pilot when we were all drinking at my place. There were zero (0) laughs even from them, and we have never discussed it since.

It’s made by leafs, what did you expect?

I'm entering this thread just to say: Fuck Quebec!
That is all.

Damn, you nailed it. The dialog in this show is infuriating

s1-3 should've been 1 season
s4 was pointless
s5 was an abomination

What about Kenny VS Spenny? That used to be a 4chan favorite. It really encapuslated the comedy style of /b/ in the mid 00s.

I'm super impressed how Canada manages to be terrible at everything.
>>
it actually has exactly 1 joke they just reuse it over and over every episode
>>
>>219491335
I'm sorry you need a laugh track to know when jokes happen. Maybe Big Bang Theory is more your speed?

The first couple season were fine, then they veered extremely hard into social justice type stuff (which existed even in the early seasons but with anywhere near the focus) and it got pretty damn cringe.
>>
my coworkers replaced normal conversation with quotes from this show for like 2 years. Watched the first scene if the pilot and didn't laugh, stopped watching. Glad it died.

The Canadian hockey player accent is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Seems so fucking contrived.
