De Palma's one of the greats, bro. Maybe Quentin overrates Blow Out, but the guy's filmography is nuts. Actual master.

It's a great film. The only thing I don't like is the assassination being an agent gone rogue instead of a government conspiracy. The latter would fit in much better not just logically, it would also suit the tone of the ending which seems to be focused on the futility of fighting against a corrupt system.
