Why haven't Gen-z and Millenials created famous IPs and characters like Gen x and boomers did?
>>
They can’t. It’s already been done before. Not a possibility. Zoomers are brain dead niggers anyway, so I don’t see them “creating” anything anytime soon.
>>
Everyone just stays home fucking their dog or playing super meat boy 3d, depending on their gender.

Your comparing series with 1-2 movies to franchises averaging 10+ films that have been around for decades and are referenced constantly
>>
>>219497307
Combination of a lot of things
>oversaturated market that prevents things from reaching the same level of cultural significance
>wilful ignorance of the franchises made by millennials that have permeated pop culture (eg. Bojack Horseman which is still talked about despite ending more than 6 years ago)
>boomers and gen x forcing constant reboots and sequels in franchises that people don't give a fuck about
>>
>>219497307
Industry is still largely gatekept by Boomers and GenX - look at how old the people at the heads of studios are. Also, there’s other media alternatives that are creating what would have been the Slasher Icons of the day instead (video games, YouTube short films, creepypasta), but they’re never reaching the same levels of fame because of the death of monoculture. Slenderman is a good example, hugely ‘popular’ but not a mainstream household name and likely won’t be passed down to new generations like Freddy Krueger was.

>that have been around for decades
Gee, I wonder why millennials haven't created any franchises that have been around for decades? Is it laziness?
the average intellect of the boomer retard
>>
>>219497307
zoomers will never be able to produce anything as haunting as the chainsaw dance. they think empty rooms are scary.
>>
>>219497307
A Nightmare on Elm Street could use a reboot with how wonky the original was with its lore. They have lots to work with if they wanted to make a more cohesive story.

???

Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer...
>>
>>219497503
Not created by a Zoomer, you dumb nigger. Damien is a late millennial.
>>
>>219497307
Because they're borderline retarded.

Learn how to read, nigger:

Why haven't Gen-z and Millenials created famous IPs and characters like Gen x and boomers did?

Zach is a xennial.
The director of Megan is a gen-X, while the screenwriter is a xennial too.
nobody born after the early '80s has ever created anything.
>>
>>219497470
They aren't milking those wo series but will be remembered. Only reason people remember the OP is because they milked those garbage franchises to death, which in a way is inundating the audiences with mediocrity. It's hard to forget them.
>>
>>219498313
Lmao they tried to milk Meagan and the sequel bombed and they are announced a prequel for Weapons like 2 weeks after. If they can milk it, they will.
>>
>>219497307
Megan. Aunt Peg. Sam from Trick r Treat. Pennywise 2.0
>>
>>219497307
They did. Maybe you don't deserve to see them.
>>
>>219497307
in the era of AI, they have no creativity
>>
>>219497307
they're too busy blaming zoomers for everything now
>>
>>219497713
Xennials like Zach Cregger and Seth Rogen moved out to L.A. 20+ years ago when stuff was still being made in California.
>>
>>219501847
And started out as actors which led to opportunities to write and direct their own stuff.
>>
>>219497470
>zoomers
>create a franchise that has been around for decades
So you expect them to create a franchise when they're in kindergarten? You're incredibly retarded.

>he thinks 10 films over 40-50 years is a lot
Japan has a franchise that's up to #52 and has only been around since 2011. Get on their level.
>>

>So you expect them to create a franchise when they're in kindergarten? You're incredibly retarded.

There wasn't much of an argument, not sure why you're acting like listing two movies is some slam dunk counter.
>>
>>219505270
I didn't mention Megan or Weapons. The only posts I've made are >>219502075 and >>219505014. You do know that we're not all the same person, right? So yes, YOU are the retard, not me.

Hold on just a minute there. Those characters and frachises in your OP were created by Silent Gen and Boomers. What did Gen X create.

I've noticed a trend of Gen X trying to take credit fir Boomer created stiff. Again, which memorable and characters did Gen X create?
>>
