will this movie be any good? I really like the ken pixels lore but he is only 20 years old directing his first feature.
>>
It's a setting not a plot, so he'd better have some story telling chops other than just expressing the generational zeitgeist of anxiety with empty indoor spaces.

You retards don't know what you're talking. Stop pretending the horror is from zoomers being in empty buildings or whatever.

the liminal space phenomenon comes from a general sense of anxiety among gen z that they missed out on childhood happiness and experiences that previous generations have. Gen Z is in a very unique position. Millennials where the first online generation but zoomers were the first to have smartphones, social media and internet be integral part of their social development.
Social media has lead to a destruction of childhood and adolescent development. We do not socialize in the same way. It is more natural to put up barriers and prevent people from getting close. People are more socialized, yet more alone. There is almost a spitting of the ego, different personalities and socialization online and in real life. Algorithms have also destroyed "popular culture" and shared experiences. Everyone watches different things and is apart niche online communities.
All this to say that liminal spaces represent this anxiety. A memory that zoomers want to have, while feeling the lonliless they experience everyday weather consciously or not.

he does a pretty good job with his stuff on youtube, having a couple good actors should elevate it

>Liminal space anemoia caused by changing economy
>A.I. generated content is further eroding perception of the past

Movie will still be shit though. These are white people feels, it doesn't work with a black person.

>zoomer doomer groomer fabricated bullshit that is up-your-own-ass and pseudo sophisticated.
Do you people get tired of bringing up generations?
>>219502848
What the fuck are you even talking about? What does any of this stuff pretain to the movie or Kane's videos?
>>219502991
The horror is randomly discovering a place that appears to be man made but obviously unnatural with no certify way of leaving. With the lingering feeling that something is right around the corner. But to you people, it deep as a generation being scared of a cleared office space.

how does someone who's never been to filmschool, doesn't know his way around cameras, have zero industry experience get offered this role? does this prove that directors were basically AI prompters with good aesthetic taste the entire time but just with humans?
>>
>>219501085
No. It’s going to be his usual stuff sandwiched between two fresh stinky slices of canned a24 poopoo.

it's not for uncs
