Will the whodunnit genre ever make a comeback or does society simply not have the attention span for it anymore?
>>
No they're done. It's like how they don't make superhero movies anymore.
>>
That’s like half the shows on network television the other half is doctor shows
>>
It never went away. Dozens of whodunnit movies and tv shows are released every year, you're probably not paying attention.
Look up what's on acornTV and britbox.
Some good recent-ish ones are Queens of Mystery, Agatha Raisin, etc.

It's another genre that can't logically exist after smartphones and internet were invented. That's why every movie about teens and coming of age are all set 20 years in the past. Kids these days are all on discord getting groomed instead of socializing.

Give a try, it's hilarious and fairly self-aware.

they're nothing alike

They shouldn't make episodes where the detective dies in the middle. It was weird and creepy. No one wants subversion from a detective tv show

There's a French tv show with an ugly woman and it's the worst show and character I've ever seen in this genre.

I’ve got toxic feminine energy fatigue.

All the other shows managed to end just fine without killing the main character. Characters in sitcoms and detective shows shouldn't experience any life changes like death.

Well it is based on a book after all..

Been watching The Marlow Murder Club. The Brokenwood Mysteries and Astrid in Paris

I need to know how redpilled the shows you guys are recommending are. I know it sounds silly but I have a formula for determining whether or not I’m enjoying something
