I was sceptical and avoided it for so long, but it's actually pretty good.

Sure thing.

I’m opposed to Watchmen sequels on principle so I’m not ever going to watch it. Glad you’re enjoying it though

Nah it’s pretty bad. The protagonist is irrelevant to the plot. The entire season is meaningless filler so that some mulatto can lecture Alan Moore on how his ending is bad actually and you should tell the truth even if the world gets destroyed. Which is really ironic because they bought into Moore’s “Rorschach is bad” narrative and used him as a hero to the white supremacist group…
It honestly had no idea what it was doing, typical of a Lindeloff show, and was probably like 3 separate shows stitched together by the Watchmen IP

Its pure kino. I am not surprised it went over the heads of all the incels who consider Hack Snyder's film a good adaptation.

literally the worst thing i've ever watched in my life

made even more insulting by having a few good elements and scenes that showed that they could have made a great watchmen adaptation if they had wanted to, but instead decided to make woke nigger slop.
>>
Trying to be woke while being a corporation milking a classic comic against its authors wishes is pretty ironic.

Yeah. Jeremy Irons’ portion (until the very end) was kino. Someone should make a supercut of it. I also liked then squid storms and the idea of Redfordrations
>>
>>219506953
It's intolerably woke.
>>
Does it get better after the first episode? I tried watching it but it was ROUGH, clearly made at the height of woke but I don’t know if the whole show is like that
>>
I liked it, don't see a reason to re-watch it though.
>>
It's like the last season of Breaking Bad
>Ok, the evil bad guys have been defeated, so now we need an even more evil bad guy.
>Umm, Nazis?
>Brilliant, Willow Spring, you're promoted to head writer.

It gets worse.
