Which do you prefer?
The Blade Element
>>219509132Yes
>>219509132Blade RunnerThe Fifth Element is one of those movies that I really want to like but Chris Tucker yelling hysterically for the entire final act always annoys the shit out of me. I have to turn the volume down during the last 30 minutes of the movie, and resist the urge to mute it
Blade runner is boring af
Fifth Element is simply Blade Runner during the day
>>219509132There's a severe lack of rain in the Fifth Element.
>>219512237Euphemism for Leeloo needs insemination?
>>219509132Saw both recently, Blade Runner is incredibly boring and I don't know why most humans characters in it act like stupid children, maybe it was a commentary on the declining IQ in the future who knows. But 5th Element Mogs it hard.
>>219509132Blade Runner if you're older than 12 and not mentally retarded. The Fifth Element otherwise.
>>219509132Blade runner is much cooler and i think about it more. I actually just re watched it over the weekend and got really sucked into it for whatever reason and really got the movie this time. I really appreciated the slow shots and shots that just establish a tone and sense of place. I understood to point of everything much more this time. Its a really beautiful movie. Fifth element is neat and funny but funny never leaves as much as an impact as a drama for me.
>>219509132Foundation
they both suckcyberpunk has never been done right
>>219514548I am mentally retarded and prefer 5th element, mostly cause Blade Runner is exhausting with all its different versions.
>>219509132rutger hauer ruins blade runner. his performance is cheesy compared to the rest of the film and thus he ruins the whole thing.
>>219509132This whole thread is just contrarian bait.
They're both good :)
>>219509132Not really comparable. The fifth element is comfy fun but it lacks the artistry of Blade Runner. Few films are really comparable, stuff like Terry Gilliam´s Brazil, Alex Proyas´s Dark City or David Lynch´s Dune come to mind.
>>219514602Based anon. I did the same thing recently with Blade Runner Theatrical 35mm edition. Watched it on the big screen and got immersed in the music and visuals. Wonderful experience.
>>219516682All the replicants act kinda weird. I wrote it up to them being imperfect versions of people.
>>219509132Fifth Element beggining is really, really bad, confusing and too long. I tried to show the movie to someone that don't like movies from the last century, but they couldn't get past the intro. The movie should have started with Bruce Willis with maybe a one minute intro in the past.I'll try again skipping the intro.
>>219513858do you think she liked the Luc going in her?
>>219510139Thank God Im jot the only one. All my friends and family love The Fifth Element. I like the concept and Bruce and Milla are both great, Milla being really cute as an ayy. But Chris Tucker nearly ruins the movie for me too. Blade Runner has much more depth and soul, and amazing ending. I like Blade Runner much more
>>219517157>I tried to show the movie to someone that don't like movies from the last century, but they couldn't get past the intro.Maybe your someone is just an adhd retard
>>219509132There is no multipass in the Blade Runner. That alone is enough to decide the issue.
>>219509132fifth element is more entertaining. blade runner is more complex. fifth element has the hotter waifu. blade runner was more influential.
I like Blade Runner for the atmosphere and soundtrack. But Fifth Element has Zorg, portrayed by Gary Oldman, the greatest actor of all time.
>>219509132Blade Element
>>219509132Blade Runner.while i dont mind gays, fags annoy me
>>219516406>2/3 of average episode is unwatchableGreat show you've got there
>>219522157In it for the visuals.
