More gays. That's the impression I get as I watch The Wire just ham fist gays in and how many prison gays were in Oz. But I could be wrong. I didn't watch Mad Men yet and there could be just as many gays.

Don had some tough moments when it came to Lucky Strike, Kodak and his ideas (even though the Lucky Strike was really last moment) and creativity made those clients happy. Mathis does not have Dons looks true. However he was young, from a new generation and could have done it his own way like many others did. Instead he did not listen to Dons advice (or implemented it incorrectly), threw a temper tantrum, and fucked up twice with the same client. Even if Mathis was good looking as Don he would have been in trouble here.
