I saw this for the first time quite recently and enjoyed it for the most part. It's definitely a turn your brain off and spark up a doobie kinda film though.

My tinhat theory is that all the negative press and controversy was planned as a ‘bad publicity marketing’ move that was intended to drive people to see the alleged “Worst movie ever made” but it didn’t pay off. I thought it was fine and had some genuinely funny moments but ultimately there are better gross-out and sex comedies from the era. Sex Drive will always win.
