I live in Albuquerque and enjoyed this movie as a glimpse of a weird showbiz version of this movie.
Without that, it's a weird, probably bad movie but it had a lot of memorable, wacky fun stuff in it.
The chemistry between the bros cannot be denied, they both did A+ work. Yes I know the mexican one is a scientologist. And I thought the villain was pretty good. And I love Malcolm Barrett in everything. The music and cinematography were elevating.
Buuuuut all the connective tissue was shit and the plot was just plain weird.
It was like a lot of cool elements dumped out of a bucket and nobody had any glue.
