they spelled the title wrong
good thread
No. >The Virginal Vagina Itch Makes complete sense.
>>219519573they also forgot to make a good movie
>>219519573your retarded
>>219519573>>219519608Seconded. I had bought tickets to the movie, but as I was walking up to the theater I noticed the poster and the glaring typo. If they can't be bothered to spell the title correctly, how much effort could have possibly gone into the making of the film itself? Needless to say, I immediately exchanged my tickets for a different film. You lost a potential fan that day, Eggers. Have never seen any of his films as a result.
taylor joy in this movie is pure wife material

>>219519573There was no w in olde English. It was just 2 Vs. Lot of letters and sounds yo words were lost. Random. YouTube vids at 2 am when the weed and caffeine hits are very enlightening.

>>219522790The letter's TH used to have its own letter called a Thorn þ, now we just use T and H instead of þ
>>219522959Cool.And better. Certain combos shoukd have their oen
>>219522959Tangentially related: read an interesting little article today about the growing need for people who can read cursive to transcribe historical documents digitally. Some in the field have basically equated it to the ability to read dead languages (in the near future). Especially when you consider variations in handwriting, this might end up being difficult for AI to deal with as well.
>>219523091The hell?No one can read cursive?Guess relearning how to write in cursive wasnt such a waste of time afterall.
>>219519663an itch that only COCK can scratch
>>219523174they removed cursive because the AI of the 90s couldnt read everyones unique script
>>219522959Icelandic still has this. English has been steadily Latinized/Francized, losing much of its Germanic influence, including thorn and the case system among other things. It's a bit sad because the Germanic languages are cool and complex. But one could also argue that English deserves its status as the lingua franca because it closely weds the two most dominant language branches in European history.
