Then the stranger next to me just started giggling at the whole thing and I lost it againThe film lost any kind of scariness or suspension but it was the most I've ever laughed during a film.

There were uncomfortable laughs after the scene played a second time, then after the third people were just looking at each other with awkward silence. When I returned to the theater, the screen was black and the lights were on (I assume they were fixing the glitch) and they just ended up restarting the movie just before the rape occurred so we ended up watching it again.
