They also nailed the important memorable parts (Hakoku Sovereignty, Reverse Mountain climb, Chopper's backstory and the Sakura tree). Basically, they managed to capture 80% of the greatness of One Piece in some scenes, which of course dwarfs anything made by anybody on TV right now, despite the lameness of a big part of the show.
