Do you like Tom Cruise?
>>219567054The Cruise Missile never misses.
>>219567054As an actor? I don't think I've seen a bad movie with him in it.
He can put on his fake actor smile but beneath the act he's the same ruthless pervert who shoved his thumb in a 17-year-old's ass crack
>>219567283>you suddenly become an adult on your 18th birthday
>>219567322usually the thumb is reserved for the older ladies
>>219567054he's not a great actor but he does well in action roles. his serious stuff is laughably bad.
>>219567054He has great screen presence but I find him sometimes slightly silly. >movies where he fits really wellCollateralMission impossibleEyes wide shut(this is one where he does come off silly at times but that fits the movies weird vibe)
>>219567054Would.
Would Cruise be cool to have a beer with? Or other Scientology-approved beverage
>>219567054I don't like the Mission Impossible series, but outside of that Cruise is okay. His best films are Collateral and The Color of Money. I don't care about his Scientology, because most actors are weird and that's just Tom's particular brand of weirdness.
I liked the Minority Report. Spielberg really cooked on this onehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lG7DGMgfOb8
>>219568380the guy's a dimwitted nutcase. he's one of those confidently stupid types that gets angry when you question his complete lack of logic
>>219567054National treasure imowould love to meet the guy
>>219567054He looks kinda like Nicole Kidman here.
A homosexual man in college back in 2012 or 13 told me I reminded him of Tom Cruise.
>>219567054I have only seen The Last Samurai and Eyes Wide Shut, and in both he was pretty boring
I don't like him, but I like a lot of his movies
>>219567054Yes, he's a good looking white guy>>219567283Hot
>>219568889You're glib anon.
>>219567523The Firm is kino
>>219567283i wish that was me
>>219568537I fucking hate the screaming girl though
>>219567283I'm 32 and I shoved my finger into my 31 year old gf's butt the other night. Am I a sick pervert???
>>219569978Correct.
>>219568537>when the "literally who" guy in the middle is still a great actorI'm thinking kino.
>>219569978that's fucking disgusting anon
>>219569978I did this to a bunch of girls in the past and my finger always came out clean but when inserting various vitamins into my ass, in a desperate attempt to bypass an intestinal absorption issue I had hallucinated in a psychotic fit, my finger always came out with slight amounts of shit on it. Something to consider
Man, I'm not sure.I never really cared for the guy or his flicks. There is just some sort of semblance of fakery to his performances, like he has an idea of what an actor is and how to mimick it, but never truly immerse himself in a role that makes you forget that you're watching Tom Cruise. Its never happened and it likely never will. I think the best Tom Cruise movie was Eyes Wide Shut because it was him being all pussy whipped moping around New York while everyone else in the movie is getting laid except him. The only other role I lied Tom in was Minority Report, but that could have a lot to do with the movie itself rather than him as the starring vehicle. That being said, I can't deny that the motherfucker CARES about films and actually gives it his all. I know a lot of it PR and such, but yeah, he's actually jumping off that mountain, he's actually diving off of one building, fucking p his ankle in the process and still finishing the take he's actually piloting that plane because he has a pilots license. He's actually jumping out of the plane 30'000 feet in the air.I think that Tom has solidified himself in an echelon of performers somewhat like Michael Jackson in that there wasn't one before him and there never will one like him ever again. I think Tom is the prototype for the "Movie Star" as opposed to the "Film Actor." The movie could be absolute shit, but Tom could sell it by Tom's name alone and that's a feat unto itself. He DID bust his ass through COVID and delivered one of the only major blockbusters seen in years with Top Gun and that film was excellent. Can't say I like him, but hanging out here and appreciating his work kinda warmed me up to him....a little.
>>219570468>when inserting various vitamins into my assdo any of them give you a euphoric high?
>>219569020What kind of person are you that these are the only Cruise movies you've ever seen? What are your typical viewing preferences?
>>219570476>there's some sort of semblance of fakery to acting
>>219570476Watch Collateral. Probably his best acting role, and he plays a villain, rare for him. Also a great Michael Mann film, one of the best directors of his generation. It'll be the best film you see for months, or longer. You're welcome. >>219571052haha, he literally wrote that.
I hated him for a long time because women thought he was sexy after he made that Jerry Maguire movie and I was like "fuck Tom, he's gay", but then Collateral dropped, and he showed his true power level
>>219571052the dumbest yet most opinionated people on earth congregate on 4chan
I stopped watching Mission Impossible after the second movie but I feel like he just keeps going. what is the deal with that. he did Mission Impossible for 30 years, that's wild
>>219567054He's an entertainer that understands that he needs to be entertaining.
>>219567523He's started as dramatic actor only to pivoting to action in later career, his old flicks shows his range but maybe playing dramatic roles exhaust him mentally and playing action guy is more fun.>>219568380Maybe yes if you're working in theater or film crews since he really appreciate them judging from the videos of him talking lengthy with theater staffs
>>219567054yes, he's great. i got choked up seeing him carry the torch at the olympics.we're not gonna be getting another tom cruise any time soon.
>>219567054He's the greatest living movie starhe has enough charisma to carry any movie
>>219567054He's the guy that made me believe that having gray hair is really cool
>>219567054He an alright actor. He's far too autistic and weird to try and like as a person though.
>>219569978SHE WAS 31 YEARS OLD YOU SICK FUCK
tropic thunder is peak cruise
>>219567054Yes.
I can't wait for his next blockbuster action thriller
>>219567054his movies tend to be great.
>>219576717far and away 2: niggers
>>219575010 And that’s exactly it. Dude isn’t the “best actor” in the DDL sense, he’s the last actual MOVIE STAR. There’s a difference. When Cruise shows up you’re not wondering if the script is prestige-tier, you’re wondering what insane shit he’s gonna strap himself to this time. He’s 60+ and still moving like a guy who has something to prove. Meanwhile every other leading man hits 45 and starts doing dad-core streaming slop. Cruise treats every release like it’s 1996 and he’s still gotta earn it.You don’t have to like him as a person, but you can’t deny the aura. You put his name on a poster and normies, dads, and /tv/ autists all at least perk up. That era’s dead otherwise. After him it’s just franchises and content. He’s the franchise.
>>219569647The firm is kino? It got panned.
>>219571025I am simply not an american millenial.
>>219567054The greatest action movie star of all time
>>219570468that's because girls don't poop, retard
>>219567054No. The only performance of his I liked was in Rain Man, that was the only time I felt like I was watching a human being and not Tom Cruise putting up a front.
>>219567054He was good in Collateral. That's about it.
>>219571199He is a good protagonist actor but a really famtastic vilian. Also Les Grossman and LestatBasically all his villains are memorable and steal the show.
>>219567054Yeah
>>219567054No. He has never made a good movie.
>>219567054I've been on board since Risky Business and All The Right Moves. He's a genuine movie star.
>>219567283shut the fuck up
>>219567916He’s great in action schlock. >minority report>edge of tomorrow>the last samurai>top gunJust an overall fun actor.
>>219567054He's inspirational. Sincerely, genuinely, honestly, unironically.Whenever I'm suffering from low-confidence or low self-esteem, I think about how Tom Cruise would conduct himself. Sometimes I imagine how he'd give me a pep talk, and then I'm able to proceed with a higher level of boldness and competence. I don't even care about the Scientology, ostensibly unusual behavior, or rumors. He's based. And both his movies and his personality have had a demonstrated improvement on my life. I'm not a celebrity worshipper, but it would be cool if I had the opportunity to meet him in real life. Nevertheless, I am appreciative just knowing he's out there.
