The power scaling in this show in general is beyond retarded but if this is how they start the season there's no point keeping up. They fucked up big time by casting Pace. He's a great actor but his voice just doesn't work for this character who is already not exactly well served by the downgrade in visual style vs the comic. Clancy Brown would have been the perfect choice instead of voicing Kregg but there are a dozen other people that could have provided the deep, powerful voice that was needed. Shit's just another lame decision in a series of lame decisions with this shit.
