>most recognizable object in /tv series and movies used by robbers
>no actual robbers ever use it
why the crowbar became such an iconic symbol for robbery?

it's called a trope.
like the karate chop 1 hit knockout, it doesn't actually work like that.
>>

Because thieves do use it. It's the perfect tool for opening a locked door if you don't give a shit about being quiet and it's got less moving parts than a stick shift so any idiot can learn how to use it.
>>
>thieves don't use pry bars
What gated white cul-de-sac do you live on snowflake? They are used all the time for windows and doors where speed is the only concern

I guess it indicates that you're trying to access something that you're not supposed to, plus it can be used as a weapon.
It's not the worst thing to bring in a robbery. A battering ram might be more useful in getting through a door or something but that's very unwieldy.

>be rich fag that has a mustang parked on the driveway
>cheap out on windows and get surprised when he gets robbed
absolutely deserved, unless you have insurance which is a money glitch

Robbers used to need tools because they had to be sneaky. You see, every house had this alarm system called "a wife" and if a burglar made too much noise it would not only alert the one wife, but the wives of nextdoor neighbors. Nowadays nobody has that so they can just kick in the door and take what they want.

Literally one of the only roles left for white men in Hollywood

the thing I hate the most about modern society is the no snitch culture.
it's worse in predominately black neighborhoods where you see someone doing a mug dump drive by and you don't say or do anything.
someone steals a bike and they think of nothing or let the robber do it's thing.
someone flexes a phone they stole and everyone else is just "aw shit that's cool nigga way to go my man got himself the new iphone pro max"
where's the shaming?
people used to get their hands chopped for stealing and it was a beautiful deterrent so you can enjoy something you wagecucked for without worrying about a low trust ignorant fool.

nowadays a burglar can even film himself doing a crime in broad daylight with no consequences

I used to live in Atlanta and my neighborhood faceberg group kept complaining about these nogs selling drugs in an alley. Every time they would get 20 people calling them racist and telling them to ignore it. One day someone does a drive by and shoots an 9 year old who was hanging out with them. Suddenly they were wondering why cops couldn't protect them and calling them pigs for letting this happen.
