>they were dead the whole time!!!Where the fuck did this myth come from? If you actually watched it it's clear this isn't the case so why are there so many people who haven't seen this show smugly lecturing others about it?
So what DID happen smart guy?
>>219583802Still a top 5 TV show of all time regardless of what you think of the last season. You won't experience the pleasure again of what you did watching this show.
>>219583909It was the last TV show that was widely watched before streaming splintered everything.
No one actually thinks that. It's just a strawman argument that fans use to deflect genuine criticism
>>219583802It’s literally just one retardedly autistic anon that comes to every LOST thread saying that. His arrival is as predictable and imminent as the guy who complains about the chess scene in every The Wire thread
>>219584357The chess scene is actually a metaphor.
>>219584357Or the absolute retard who claims Tesla's machine does not work in every The Prestige thread.
>>219584357I see these people all the time on normie sites like instagram and twitter
>>219584014No that was GoT
>>219583802The first and last scenes being seconds apart.
>exposition man says everything was real, it all happened, it all mattered, and this is a good ending>very next scene>jack in the exact spot he was in seconds after the first scene of the show, deadNot even going into how half the show is about how the island is a place of repentance.
>>219585819so they weren't dead the whole time, they were sort of dead. Got it.
>>219585887Died in the crash bro. The island is part of the afterlife.
>>219583802>they were dead the whole time!!!>Where the fuck did this myth come from?this is pretty good bait, you anons are getting better
>>219586044it’s not bait, it’s lindelof trying to salvage his career.
>>219585695They weren't though retard>>219585819>jack in the exact spot he was in seconds after the first scene of the show, deadExcept Vincent is next to him, perfectly healthy, his clothes are completely different from the ones we saw him wearing on the plane, and he can SEE THE PLANE WITH THE REST OF THE CAST ON IT LEAVING OVERHEAD. Wtf is your theory on how he died exactly, he and Vincent fell from the plane, he changed his clothes mid fall, Vincent landed on a conveniently placed pile of crash pads, and Jack somehow had a delayed death from the impact of falling 30,000 feet?Stop overanalyzing everything, it's just a visual homage to things coming full circle. That's when his responsibility as a leader began, and he's back in that spot watching them leave and finally getting to rest
>>219584357Lmao there he is>>219585819>>219585695
They were dead the whole time. The Others were spirits that knew they were dead. They couldn't have children on their own (becuase creating life from a dead womb causes super death), so they kidnapped them to raise them. People like Rousseau didn't even know they were dead, just like the Losties. But the plot was so predictable they changed everything in further seasons to civilized people experiencig fertility problems.
>>219584467>Tesla's machine does not workfirst I hear of this
>>219589453It’s basically impossible to do a spooky mystery show and not have someone guess they were dead the whole time
>>219589873Compounded by how the writer’s idea of foreshadowing is a guy waving a sign around saying “WE ARE DEAD WE DIED IN THE CRASH!” And then being shocked people figured it out.
>day 5348 of waiting for the lost fanbase who liked the ending to materialize from the ether
