That’s exactly what the Zodiac would say.
Authur Lee Allen wasn't the zodiac tho. He liked to scare his neighbors into thinking he was but he doesn't match the witness reports at all.
>>219589049> he doesn't match the witness reports at all.Witness accounts are extremely unreliable, especially since one of them was at night.
>>219589049This is the thing I wish the movie touched more. It does a little, but the reality is a lot of people loved the idea of lying about being Zodiac. It's a constant thing with pathetic losers who have accomplished nothing to just lie. DB Cooper stuff is plagued with this.
>>219588735Zodiac was cia psyop
>>219589049>>219589233>"I'm the Zodiac">That's exactly what not the Zodiac would say
>>219589049that's exactly what witnesses covering for the true zodiac would say
>>219588735>>219589049>>219589233>>219589563I thought for years that the implication of the movie was that Jake Gylenhall's character was the Zodiac
>>219588735>Why don't we just go and find out what I posted in /film/?>Oh, that's all right.>It's not a problem. My battlestation is just down in the basement.>Not many people have basements in California.>My mother does. You coming, Graysmith-kun?
>>219589049Witness testimony is notoriously unreliable, though having said that Michael Mageau really did identify Arthur Leigh Allen as the Zodiac, however even with that there were conflicting identifiers between his description and Allen, not to mention it was over 20 years later. The strongest indicator that the Zodiac was not ALA is that the DNA profile developed from the envelopes did not match, his fingerprints and palm prints did not match those in the cab, and even with the whole ambidextrous thing ALA's handwriting was never matched by any expert to the Zodiac's.Really the DNA not matching is all you need. That's basically a slam dunk in ruling him out.
>>219588735if he said he isn't the zodiac then he's not. Why lie?
>>219589981How did you come to that conclusion?
>>219590119>Really the DNA not matching is all you need. That's basically a slam dunk in ruling him out.The problem is that there is no evidence that the DNA or the fingeprints are Zodiac's. And they are obvioulsy not very reliable (meaning have not been stored well enough) since they couldn't even build a DNA tree to match him on some public genealogy site like they did with the Original Night Stalker. There's mountain of circumstantial evidence against ALA and way too many "coincidences". The fact that the Zodiac never communicated while ALA was indisposed is a huge red flag in of itself.
>>219592783>The fact that the Zodiac never communicated while ALA was indisposed is a huge red flag in of itself. There were no communications long before his incarceration in March 1975, and no authentic letters after he was released.
How is a major motion picture able to accuse an actual person of murder and get away with it? He was never charged, isn't that slander?
>>219593190he died in like 1992, who is going to sue him?he was also a convicted sex offender, no one gave a shit to begin with.
>>219593190Apparently all that matter is that the person you’re talking about is dead
>>219593286>>219594061How convenient that of all the people the zodiac could be, it happened to be the guy that couldn't sue them.
>>219594608people love scapegoats anon. people like feeling secure.I personally believe in the multiple killers theory.I believe that the original killer started this and realized very quickly how autistic and gay all of this was and another killer started LARPing the fame. Maybe realizing that it's easier to control the situation and confuse the police? All of the suspects have absurdly coincidental situations.Father has a saying "one coincidence is a coincidence, two coincidences is not a fucking coincidence."So Arthur seems likely at first, until you look that 3 other guys have just as much random weird multiple coincidences that it's just legitimately confusing.Almost like a coincidence in itself, very coincidental that we have like 4 very likely suspects all in their own rights. So it's not a coincidence. It's likely 2 of those suspects are both The Zodiac at different times.
>>219588735semi /tv/ related but i wish la noire had a sequel set in 70s san francisco inspired by dirty harry with the zodiac being the elusive overarching case.
>>219589049Was he one of the Zebra killers though?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zebra_murders
>>219588735He just said he wasn't
>>219594954Sounds great. Since LA noire rips off LA Confidential it would be natural to rip off Dirty Harry.
>>219595085Sorry. I didn't hear him properly. I thought he said "I'm the Zodiac"
>>219595085>>219595294I’m sick of your games, Zodiac. Just confess already.
>>219595945Never.
He prolly was a molested jew with daddy issues named Sandy
>>219594954Would that not be a bit too similar to the first game? LA Noire has a serial killer arc.
>>219591858It's always the person you least suspect
Wasn't the Zodiac (in the movie) the guy with the movie posters?
>>219588735
Does this movie have gory violence or is it just assumed the murders occurred and some investigator's looking into it? I'd like to watch it, but I don't like grisly, gory murder scenes.
>>219588735>B...but his handwriting doesn't maatch. Were people in the 70s just fucking retarded?
>>219597204Stephen Hawking is the Zodiac killer confirmed
>>219600442There is one vicious scene, when the Zodiac attacks a young couple, killing one and crippling the other. It's not hugely gory, but if you don't like violence, it might get under your skin.
>>219589981There actually was a strong theory for a while that Graysmith wrote the letters.
>there are still unsolved zodiac cyphersCrazy
>>219600442Not much violence.
>>219600727Of course! Who else but someone who studies stars!?
>>21960044299% of the movie is about the investigation, but there are some scenes recreating the zodiacs attacks, yes. I wouldn't say that it's super "gory" though, it's all pretty grounded. It's not like "Seven" or "The House That Jack Built" or anything remotely like that.
>>219593190He's a dead pedophile whose estranged family actively participated in the investigation against him. Who is going to care?
