Not really. Cronenberg's 70s-90s work has not aged well, because he largely relied on shock value, and we're now thoroughly desensitised to his shocks. If you watch Crash today, it seems callow and fake-edgy, and Videodrome has a similar problem. In a modern world where everything has become outrageous, and we see crazy shit every day, Cronenberg has lost his power to provoke.

soundtrack is kino, atmosphere is disturbing, i like the concept of the government doing secret things to people without them knowing, the whole video drome thing reminds me of the paranoia of people who claim they have gangstalkers

the ending made no sense at all desu.
