I have a copy of Rome: Season 2 tucked away and I haven't watched it yet. I was completely blown away by how absolutely goddamn fucking kino the first season was. Man, was that first vieiwng of every episode ever a trip. It was practically everything I could have wanted and asked for in a television show; every episode feature violence or sex and all other assortment of kick assery. I haven't watched the second season because from everything I heard, its something of a letdown as it was rushed when it was revealed that it wasn't getting renewed or that it ended on something of a wet fart. I still want to do it, but I also don't want to devalue the high I still get and feel whilst watching the first season. What am I missing out on? Am I depriving myself of something great or is it best to leave the memories alone sort of deal?

IT'S OK BUT THERE'S SOME STUPID TIME SKIPS BECAUSE S3 GOT CANCELLED. THINGS THAT COULD'VE EASILY BEEN A WHOLE SEASON LAST FOR LIKE ONE OR TWO EPISODES.

First 2 episodes feel like season 1 for the most part.Purefoy hard carries the second season.Vorenus and Pullo story feels contrived.You can really feel that the second season was supposed to end with Phillipi as after that it feels like an abridged series.
