>>219637906dona florinda used to make my peepee tingle
This is a good thread for this question.Mi espanol as my pequeno. ¿Que es una pelicula o serie describes television bueno para aprender espanol?
>>219639406*muy pequeno
>>219639406use pocoyo in spanish, literally your level of iq
>>219637906>innocent show >deep down the cast are degenerates at worst, self-destructive at best. including the director
>>219639467That's not nice.
>>219639534To be fair, Chespirito made the show for all family. He didn't expect the show would become so popular with kids
>>219639711>That's not nice.but it works.
>>219637906hahaha
>>219639203based el Chavo actually teaching young spic kids good valuesthats why all the commie single mother low iq spics hate him now
>>219637906quino
>>219642825Maybe one of these days there'll be a Chavo and Mafalda crossover. Chespirito's son only care for money and Quino never had children so I assume some nephew inherited the rights to Mafalda
>>219637906Mexicans act like they're better than it and they feel ashamed because of it, but fuck it, I actually like it (t. Mexican).
Needs a jojo crossover treatment.
>>219638098How many orgies do you figure they had while wearing the little girl costumes?
>>219639406Unironically watch el Chavo, it's got way too many native refrains and humor, but their usage of Spanish never really gets that complicated and you'll pick up patterns from it.
>>219639534uuuh based?
show has the same jokes every episode and it still gets me every time
>>219643120It's great for unwinding on lazy evenings or Saturday afternoons.
>>219639333woah mama! she just made my chorizo into a grande chorizo!!
>>219642916(((Argentinians))) suck my unwashed Mexican anus.
>>219637906Looking back on it, the show was weirdly sexual with Patty and Chilindrina wearing short dresses that show a lot of leg. I wonder how much of it was on purpose.
>>219637906What's his power level?
>>219637906Me IRL.
>>219642948Those are Mexican hipsters aping to be Americans. They deserve to be mocked
>>219642952Chavo's Bizarre Adventure>Aztec Blood>Mexican Tendency>Tangamandapio Crusaders>Barril is Unbreakable>Vento Godinez>Acapulco Ocean>Square Ball Run>Chavolion>Chavolands
>>219643403No, even the Mexican-ass spics from the homeland who speak no English and call English-speaking Mexicans "pochos" feel like El Chavo is below them nowadays.
>>219643222La escuelita was more into cheesecake if that is what you think. This was just a kid's uniform.
>>219643501La Hora Pico and La Escuelita is literally softcore porn and they'd air it late at night, but I second that other anon, they were definitely getting freaky in the El Chavo set.
>>219639406El Chavo is legit a good choice. The dialogue is quite simple, the hardest part are some outdated references even most mexicans nowadays won´t get.
>>219643453I think I saw a drawing of El chapulin Colorado as a stand
>>219643565I feel like a dumbass that in 20+ years of watching the Simpsons I never realized that the Bumblebee man is supposed to be El Chapulín Colorado.
>>219643396Me IRL
>>219643501>La escuelita was more into cheesecake if that is what you think.La Escuelita was unapologetically a show for adults (our parents not giving a fuck and letting us watch anyway is another matter), El Chavo was a family show.>>219643501>This was just a kid's uniform.Yeah, but when you put it on a grown woman´s woman it has a certain effect.
>>219637906Kiko is Jewish:- Family is well off just because- Strongly Matriarchal- Cries on a fucking wall- Does scummy shit to get what he wants- Consumed by envy and rage at how authentic others are
>>219639406I guess El Chavo could work, just because i don't really think there are lots of Spanish entertaiment to choose from in general besides maybe the Argentinian catalog which is more varied (Los Simuladores, Historias Extraordinarias, Boogie el Aceitoso, Mercano el Marciano, El Eternauta, etc). Consider moving onto books at some point. I learned english empirically playing graphic adventure games like Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk back in the day, and from the practice i went to reading novels eventually. It was reading who got me to get English flawlessly which made watching entertainment in the original language easier to understand.
>>219637906The making of series last year was pretty good. And the porn versions are exceptional.
>>219643560Yo le voy al Necaxa
>>219644359The biopic was too sanctimonious if that's what you're talking about, too high off its own farts.
>>219643560When don Ramon thinks someone is insinuating he is gay he says, "yo solo le doyba necaxa," meaning he is straight. Its old school slang that only Metropolitan mexicans would know.
>>219643396>Lazy>Completely dependent on others to live>Yet, easily annoyed by others>Unemployed and in crippling debt>Thinks he's unlucky so uses it as an excuse to do nothing. Yup... I'm thinking based.
>>219644120excellent titles to learn English with. figuring out the idioms, slang and pop culture references in Ace Attorney, perhaps difficult, but merely stating those are fun titles regardless.
>>219643396Was he a hippie or a slacker?
>>219639203>>219640745kek the actor preaching muh christcuck morals while IRL he cheated on his wife with a ton of women and abandoned all his kids
>>219645368>IRL he cheated on his wifeackchually he supported his kids and left them with control of all of his intellectual propertyhe got a vasectomy so as to not have more kids with his side piece florindaits a classic macho mexican catholic life, you as a spic adjacent zoomer wouldnt get it
Haha I love when he says, he says:"No contaban con mi astucia!"Haha
>>219645152A genius
>>219639406Matando cabos, el inferno, y tu mama ambience and amores perros are a must for modern day spanish. Nieve reinas and el secreto de sus ojos are Argentinian kino that use some different slang so be careful. Movies that you have already seen and have Spanish subtitles and/or dubbing. Even watching the news and network tv woth close captioning will immediately introduce you basic and complex words that will build your lexicon framework. Certain video games have a Spanish version and you can look at.them on youtube.
For me it's the one where Rondamon teaches Chavo boxing.
>>219637906>>219638477>>219643789what in the FUCK is wrong with this guy's face
>>219643789Don't forget Quico is excluded from the Jesus's song, see >>219639203Actually it was because Carlos Villagran signed a contract with a record company behind Chespirito's back but applying death of the author, it could mean Quico doesn't worship Jesus
>>219643647That quote goes hard, is it from something else?>>219643120There is the episode where chaos runs away and everyone goes looking for him. Wholesome as hell.
>>219643222But la chilindrina was deliberately made very ugly, there was never anything sexual about her
>>219648253He has the cheeks of a thin she-pig
Also people talk about El Chaveo but are sleeping on the other show from chespirito, el Chapulin Colorado and the Shakespeare parodies
>>219643674Natalie portman in the risqué baby doll outfit in v for vendetta comes to mind.
>>219648253Villagrán puffed up his cheeks to look like a pig as part of the gag. His idea was to depict a bougie Mexican kid, of which there are many.
>>219649165I've heard them called fresh.>>219639406The teen soap opera rebelde and the music videos were/are megahits in mexico. Hilarry duff even makes a cameo.
>>219649165>>219649411Fresh like strawberry meaning like a rich preppy. Or at least give a front of being those things.
>>219649018Chespirito's Don Juan is unironically kino. Chespirito stated he loved Spanish golden age literature and it shows
>>219643222That's on you dude
>>219649622I haven't seen that one
>>219643496Oh wow, really? My sister married a spic and his family love it.
>>219645368Okay poomar
Looks like live action max fleischer, Popeye, Betty boop etc
>>219649907It does have cartoon logic and slapstick stunts.
>>219649907>>219650094Chespirito loved American media. That's why his shows were made in American style, which mean the improvisations were kept to minimum, except for Ramon Valdez because he always made Chespirito laughed. In Latin America, it's common for comedians to improvise everything and use the script as a base but not sticking to it.
>Burgers lose their shit for a latina Snow White>Meanwhile in Mexico
Wait did gringos watched dubbed chavo or is everyone in this thread a spic?
>>219651124You'd be surprised at how many people on the chans are spics.
>>219649704It's true. I'm as much of a first-gen Mexican as they come, and I know that they hate Chespirito because Mexicans feel that he's unrefined.
>>219643789>Family is well off just because raised by a single mom in section 8 housing lmao what
>>219650883>ChespiritoYes. Chespirito is a bastardization of "Shakespeare", as in, he considered himself the "little Shakespeare".
>>219651247https://youtu.be/QUv_VdNLrfU
>>219637906As the Gringo son of Americans living in Argentina, I genuinely feel alienated back in the US when none of my friends recognize this show
>>219643396I think every single man on earth becomes him at some point in our lives.
>>219651366The reason why El Chavo resonates with Latin Americans so much is because it perfectly reflects the living conditions of the Latin American. This is Chespirito's greatest achievement; to translate this onto television was not easy at all, even more in his time. You have to had lived there for it to make any sense.
>>219649018Most of his productions are literally lost media, as in, there's literally no living record of those plays to distribute online.
>>219651124I watched Dubbed Chavez (in Portuguese). Brazil is the black sheep of Latam but we still get your shows in our own coating
>>219651493BR is bro to Mexico.
>>219651450I know what you mean, it's also why despite being a Boludo-raised Yankee I've always gotten on so well with eastern Europeans, I think eastern Europe really is the "Latino America" of Europe. It's the same sort of attitude to life you get from being raised in the poorer side of the continent.
>>219637906https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ettaeKZHAwA
>>219651589Seu Madruga! Obrigado! Obrigado!
>>219645368That's literally every family man in all of Central and South America. To them, that's a positive role model.
>>219651450>it perfectly reflects the living conditions of the Latin American. This is Chespirito's greatest achievement; to translate this onto television was not easy at all, even more in his time. You have to had lived there for it to make any sense.I miss when TV shows and cartoons would portray poorer familys. It was something I could relate to. Even cartoons like the Simpsons used to show them struggling to pay rent and trying to save money. Stuff like Hey Arnold or Good Family. Are there even tv series like this now? Seems like everyone wants to portray rich people now.
>>219651716No such thing. Media right now is like coke. It's designed to be maximally saccharine and addictive because it's competing with TikTok for the goyim's attention.
>>219651124there's a lot of mexicans in the US, nigga, i guess gringos not related to México had some access to El Chavo, or like we say in México: algo tuvieron que rozar ("They must have rub/touch something") which in this context means "They must have been exposed to it somehow"
>>219637906I was always quico when me and my friends played el chavo
>>219651589NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA DE NADA
A very deep comedy about poverty in Mexico underrated gem. Social commentary is done well.
>>219645368Nooo people are not perfect therfore striving for good is wrong what a dumb piece of shit you.
>>219652195>i guess gringos not related to México had some access to El ChavoI am familiar with it in passing from cable. Every once in a while when flipping through channels I'd see it and stop to watch it for a bit. I had no idea what was going on but it was so strange that it was memorable.
"El Chavo" came, and it was massively popular. But eventually, Chespirito and Quico got into a fight over creative differences and (((rights))), because both of them argued that the success of the show was due to their original characters, Chavo and Quico. They weren't able to reconcile so they parted ways.(((Emilio Azcárraga))), the Mexican TV Lord, got so pissed over their golden goose coming undone over such petty bullshit that he sent mail to every TV company in Latin America not to give Quico any work after his departure just out of mere spite; yet he eventually found work in Venezuela, with several failed projects, such as "Niño de Papel", "Federico" and "Quico Botones".They kept the show going without Quico in Mexico, but eventually "El Chavo" lost a lot of steam due to creative deficiency. They'd literally reuse scripts, playing the same episodes over, and over, and over, and the show died. Chespirito was never able to recapture his former level of prominence except for his "El Chapulín Colorado" superhero stories, where he'd play a foolish superhero who'd save the day by clumsy means.
>>219652336 being quico is a spiritual condition. loud, rich mom, infinite smug energy, gets owned every episode anyway. every group had: >one chavo (actual poor kid) >one quico (annoying but secretly insecure) >one ñoño (fat kid) >one dude forced to be señor barriga because he was taller than everyone if you were self-aware enough to admit you were quico you’re already ahead of most people desu
I miss afal Ramon es and canal 5 playing music videos.
>>219655345RON DAMON
>>219639333For me it's the hilariously short skirts like in >>219637906Everytime one of them was on screen I would focus all my attention trying to catch a pantyshot
>>219647915Matando Cabos and Y Tu Mamá También are solid cinema but they aren't good Spanish-learner choices. They're incredibly good movies but they're not good for learning the language.
>>219655483Based
>>219648253>what in the FUCK is wrong with this guy's face
>>219655224I definitely owned up to being quico but quicos are too annoying in adulthood so you have to change
>>219637906Who's the girl?
>>219655945That's Florinda Meza, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florinda_Meza
>>219651036>>Meanwhile in Mexico
>>219655979Envious much, chuddie?
>>219656005>Envious muchof what, i grew up watching chespirito, he was based
>>219651036>>Burgers lose their shit for a latina Snow White
>>219655973>bitch is 24 in the videoLiterally how?
>>219656057I know you're Mexican and/or Latin American due to your accurate usage of underused Japanese IP that was licensed cheaply to Latin America back in the 90s.
what's with all the browns on /tv/
>>219656676is an american website, what did you expect
Kino Biopic
>>219651256that's really cute.>>219650883So he's more refined than most improv comedy in LatAm? Are they all a shared culture without a big sense of hierarchy, who owns what and who took what from whom? Vaudeville is roots of a lot of media, including early animation just took a lot of what was refined from trial and error before live audiences (like Marx Bros.) Rotten Tomato talks about "history of abandonment" of the character - what's this? By parents, the state government?
>>219655345>>219655369Adal Ramones
>>219656676the natural result of not removing capeslop and tranime threads, as well as allowing utter trash like fishtank to have a general. These creatures begin to feel at home.
>>219656696this isn't an american show
>>219656970Mexico is in the American continent, mi amigo gringo. What it is not, is a United-Statian show.
>>219657784bait used to be believable
They made the SNL skit into a real show?
>>219643789Don´t forget:>Plays victim despite being the one who starts shit.>Kiko=Kike
>>219648855It depends. Earlier in the show (when she had longer hair and not yet wore her trademark green dress) she looked quite attractive because they still hadn´t figured out how they wanted to present her so they didn´t make her up that much. She was essentially just Maria Antonieta (who is a very pretty woman) making silly faces while wearing glasses and a short dress.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjLZV10M1HM
