For me I think it would be Seven Samurai (1954).

If you like classic films, this one with Robert Mitchum is as kino as they come. It's like a prequel to "Karate Kid Part 2".

It's a fish outta water story about Japanese customs and traditions.

Personally, I hate asians. But this film proves that 1 white guy with a gun > 100 samurai. It's like the sequel to "The Last Samurai" with Tom Cruise.

The Nice Guys
I don't know if it's the perfection of the film medium, but it's a perfection of its' genre.

Citizen Kane is a meme candidate. It was only good because it introduced the framework for a major film release today.
But a perfect film would be pretty inoffensive, so Shawshank Redemption or The Godfather seem like obvious choices.

Jurassic Park (1993).

Though one day I hope they make a version or mini series that's closer to the Michael Crichton novel with all the horror elements and gore.

Lets subvert the entire judicial process and let every guilty person walk because a juror mounts an entirely new defense without a judge to rule or a licensed prosecutor to refute his claims, and enter new evidence presented AFTER the trial. Fuck off with that commie liberal bullshit. The kid was guilty as fuck and the racist was justified, AS USUAL

It gets the legal process wrong. It's also fantastic and believable drama. Try not being an ineffective, disgruntled, resentful chud your whole life.

American Beauty. Everything is just so well done. The script is tight and it flips every expectation. I was lucky enough to show it to my dad before he died. It was the last film he ever watched. I'd like to think I sent him off well. When the movie ended, I looked over and thought he was finally dying because his eyes were closed and he breath was subsiding, but he woke up and told me he was dreaming about the movie. I didn't know he would like it because we have very different tastes.

I view "film" as needing depth and or scale (like Lawrence of Arabia)
But, there are lots of movies that are pretty much perfect for what they are -- Big Trouble in Little Chine, Predator, Robocop type stuff
>>
>>219659692
Jury nullification isn’t a magic “the movie is right” button, genius. It’s rare as fuck and courts actively try to prevent jurors from even knowing about it. The film doesn’t frame it as some conscious act of civil disobedience, it just handwaves the entire legal reality because it wants a cathartic ending.

You can like the drama without pretending it’s a procedural documentary.

Interesting thread, OP. I believe the actress in your image, which is fully relevant to the thread, may have been in one of the movies I believe to be perfect. However, I cannot recall the name of the movie. Perhaps if you share more (again, very relevant to the thread at hand) images of this actress (who is in both television and movies), it may allow me to recall correctly!

So, yeah, pretty much all films ever released are perfect.
