low stakes that they constantly make you believe are very high, several plot holes that aren't really explored

if the option of going to rocky's hyper advanced planet was always on the table why did it matter how much fuel goose had etc, why did goose only breed the taumeba to resist the nitrogen in venus's atmosphere and not whatever rocky's adjacent planet would be etc

worst part really though is that rocky's character is the lol so quirky alien present in almost every modern media that features one, like Knuckles in the sonic movies
