I don't think Keanu deserves all the hate he gets for his acting. He's got a very specific style, and he's no DDL, but I don't think that's the same as being awful.

Some actors are skilled enough to anticipate these things naturally. Keanu isn't and needs a bit more direction.I really like his performance in The Neon Demon.
He's hit or miss.That said I wish they'd have hired an unknown or just made up a character for Johnny Silverhand. Dozens of hours of Keanu Reeves was too fucking much. I can bear him in ninety minute to two hour movies but don't ask me for more than that.
