I had a coworker just like this back in the day. Had been in juvie, been to prison once, parole, etc. Genuinely terrifying person. Just this mix of serious aggression and complete stupidity. Interacting with him was this constant exhausting process of trying to deal with him being a dumbass while trying to not imply that he was a dumbass. He would just constantly misinterpret things and react with anger. I heard from another coworker a few years ago that he stabbed somebody and got locked up for 10+ years. Not even remotely surprising.
