Am I suppose to like or dislike Christian Slater as an actor? Is he box office poison but for television?
He's a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
His movie leads never worked for me that much. Props to him for doing gay indies.
Can't believe he molested that egyptian kind. Really thought he was a good guy.
>>219686897He's got a funny face and a gay voice, he shouldn't be an actor. Dislike I suppose.
Was this guy in any big movies other than Interview with a Vampire?
christian slater is a memorable actor that you want to forget
>>219687140t. 24 year old fag outting myself
>>219687140Robin Hood Prince of Thieves
>>219686897He seems like an A-Lister whose filmography is made up of C-list films. Every time I see him in something low-budget or doing a voice role in something I think "isn't this guy a big movie star? How'd they get him for this?"I also think the same thing when I see Ben Kingsley is shit like BloodRayne.
That film where he was with Marisa Tomei would have been special with any other actor. Any other actor.
>>219686897I used to rizz you know
>>219687140Heathers.... and that's pretty much it. Pump Up The Volume maybe, or Very Bad Things (but he was a supporting actor in that one). But overall Slater is remembered for Heathers, the last teen romantic comedy.
>>219687140OP here.Today I was watching "Mr. Robot" season 1 that he's in and then I started watching "Interview With A Vampire" for the first time which I had torrented earlier as I have been on a Tom Cruise movie binge this week. Then, just now as I was posting this thread about Christian Slater, he appeared on my TV at the same time and I had no fucking clue he was in it. What the fuck is happening to me bros?

>>219686897I recommend this weird ass movie
>>219687140In the 90s, yeah. He sort of disappeared from the limelight after Windtalkers.
>>219686897Heathers and Pump Up The Volume and Young Guns were pure 80’s kino. Slater was the cool unassuming relatable non-asshole rebel for a generation. He could have been A-list but decided not to chase Hollywood bullshit or suck cock, probably excuse he got into the biz as kid. He’s done a lot of great work, on stage too, just taking supporting roles on stuff like Mr. Robot and artistic shit like VonTrier’s Nymphomanic. I guess he figures he has all the wealth he needs and is living his life. BASED
mister robot ran for a long time
>>219687871>Slatered
>>219686897Very early on, such as in Heathers and up through True Romance, he seemed like a next gen Jack Nicholson, but that never quite happened. He's got a smugness that works in the right roles, but he rarely got those roles. That smugness in the wrong roles, which he did get, came across off-putting.
>>219687486>Pump Up The Volume maybeThat is an absolute classic with the most bitchin' fucking soundtrack ever.
>>219687922I fricken knew it.
broken arrow is underrated. worth a one time watch.
>>219687486true romancehard rainbroken fucking arrow
>>219687285i think in Ben's case he really does it for the love of the game
>>219686897He's the greatest actor who ever lived.
