Considering that it was an experimental piece that was largely just a celebration of markiplier himself and a pre-existing videogame... I don't see why any Hollywood insider would even for a second consider nominating this. The movie was interesting and engaging as long as you were aware of the film's context and limitations, but ultimately it was a step away from being one of those gay one man plays that gets adapted into a movie, and it is substantially less likely to get attention from the Oscars because it isn't a circlejerk about acting or Hollywood or theater, it's a circlejerk about a videogame and an eceleb
