>Dave Filoni is very much on board with what Simon’s doing, and that would be a new trilogy. In the timeline of things, that takes you well into 2030 plus. So that’s really what’s up next.>This is the next iteration, the new saga that moves us into the future after Episode 9. it’s all pretty much new characters. We may bring some of the characters back from the sequel saga, but pretty much new characters.>He’s working right now. He wrote something that we read in August, and it was very good, but not there. We’ve pretty much upended the story, and then spent a great deal of time on the treatment, which he finished in november. And it’s a very detailed treatment, like 70 pages. i went into TLJ with rock bottom expectations based on early opinions. still came out disappointed to a degree of anger. and i kinda liked Ep7 / R1 / Andor.i'll play star wars mods for games and shit but i'm never ever watching the new material.sucks because i bet 15 year old me would have loved the obi wan show just for being an obi wan show

>>219708958who cares. they have cancelled more star wars movies at this point its more than the entire MCU.this has a 5% chance of ever getting filmed

>>219708958>it’s all pretty much new charactersThis literally never happens. They cannot help themselves. They spent a decade raping Extended Universe even though they VERY publicly distanced themselves from it.
