The Room's "so bad it's good" rep is the epitome of millennial self-righteousness and naivete.It has an easy, politically correct target (a white male who's been hurt by women? The Disaster Artist book was kino and it actually made me more sympathetic towards Tommy and less towards Greg. Tommy is basically the embodiment of the American dream. Came over here from some former soviet shithole and through sheer tenacity and wit became a millionaire. Meanwhile Greg is a spoiled pretty boy that never had the drive to really go after what he wanted, and ungratefully leeches off of Tommy instead.
