I was gonna cross reference one of my favorite /tv/ memes of the decade but this thread doesn't really deserve it. :/

I'd have been a lot more hyped for this movie if they hadn't been running the franchise into the ground with forgettable films and endless waves of streaming shows. Even if they make it such that you don't have to have watched all that, it still kills the hype, because a lot of the hype for Avengers films came from seeing the heroes reunite for a big threat after having good, enjoyable films of their own.
