>Love isn’t something that we invented. It’s observable. Powerful. It has to mean something. Maybe it means something more, something we can’t yet understand. Maybe it’s some evidence, some artifact of a higher dimension that we can’t consciously perceive. Love is the one thing that we’re capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space.
/tv/ still hasn't been able to refute this

I would give her some love, if you catch my drift

I like the first half of Interstellar, i dont know why Nolan likes to go full retard at the end of his movies
>>
I already lost interest when he time traveled to his daughter's bedroom

It's not just love. Any type of human connection would work in that sort of fuzzy quantum way.
>>
>>219752202
Love is just a human emotion that we evolved with, nothing special. Pedophiles love children but we don't apply the same logic to them. It's a movie, written by a fag director with faggy lines. Love isn't some mystical thing. Good movie, but nowadays people operate in a Marvel movie morality.
>>
I still don't know if people really don't understand the line or are just memeing about it.

>Love is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck, it's a series of tubes.

Bitter anons just want to hate anything that sounds remotely romantic.
>>
Love is a combination of hormones like dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, norepinephrine, and vasopressin.
Hope that helps OP

>Now let's not notice that a pilot that went down to a planet affected by time distortion due to a black hole would only really have landed a few minutes ago, even though we're hammering the fact that time distortion is a thing that will affect our own trip.

This. She was a moron.

Love is temporary, death is eternal. Heil Hitler.

Like much of Nolan's dialog, it's awkward and robotic.

It's just new age female hippy crap. It's the same shit as vision boards and manifesting. It sounds good to them and is supposed to stick it to the stupid men who don't understand it. They act like it will produce real, tangible effects on reality such as traveling through time and saving someone from a black hole. When any sane man is going to look at them confused and say "what the fuck are you talking about, Marie?!"

>refute a most vague and impossible to prove or disprove non-argument
Alright then.
Love is something we invented. It's not observable (not in the sense implied here). Maybe it doesn't mean something more and we understand it as well as it can be. It's probably not some artifact of a higher dimension. We have no conclusive evidence of love transcending time and space.
Love is great as it is and we don't need retarded mystical babble to justify it. It's fine if we give our existence meaning ourselves, we don't need a transcendental or divine entity/concept to do that. And it's fine if it doesn't mean anything to you, that's the beauty in having the free will to choose your own way to live.

I always hate it when they make some random emotion the most powerful thing ever. It always feels tacky, like a woman wrote it. I know it's not a /tv/ reference, but I dropped the Hyperion sequels like a hot coal the moment they made love A FORCE OF FUCKING PHYSICS.

Not to sound like a Rick and Morty plebbitor but romantic love is unironically just a chemical reaction which compels us to breed

>a chemical reaction which compels us to breed
So, something we didn't invent and can transcend dimensions of time and space...

>NNNNNNNooooooooooooo how dare you make your sci-fi movie be religious and humanistic instead of deeply nihilistic nnnnoooooooooo what about science

It's a sci-fi movie
WOMEN and LOVE and 5th dimensional aliums have no business being in it...

>She only landed a few minutes ago
>But we've been receiving positive signal from her from the surface of the planet for years

Fucking how? Her signal would be affected by the time dilation as well. Also, did she seriously land and immediately start broadcasting a positive signal without doing anything to check the planet out first?
>>

Yes, it will pull a father out of a black hole across the galaxy to breed his daughter
