It's just poorly written. The Fisk character especially, he's not the Machiavellian evil genius he used to be, he's much more of a thug now. Fisk as a character is interesting because he's both brain and brawn, but they took away the brain. They seem to want to give Vanessa a lot of credit for being the mastermind, which runs a good character to uplift a character nobody cares about. Daredevil's reasoning refusing not only to kill Fisk, but also to let Fisk be killed, isn't really well articulated. And it hardly bears mentioning but there's way too much airtime dedicated to 'omg, this is just like Trump's Amerikkka' content.

It's not a fucking reboot, it's a sequel. Why the fuck do people call everything a reboot these days? A reboot is when it starts over from the beginning.

Kingpin coming back is fine.... ish. People ignoring his crimes is really on the nose of real life that Im honestly, kind of sick of.
