Why did Wes think people want to watch Timothy Chalamet play a Soixante-huitard who intermittently utters his lines in French for no apparent reason other than Wes thought it would make him sound cool? This whole film was just cum through a projector. I want to beat Wes Anderson with a clawhammer for creating this POS.

Timmy doesn't even speak French in this.

Personne qu'une grosse fiotte aurait aimé ce film immonde.

it's easily his worst one (haven't seen Asteroid City)

Asteroid City has a nude scarjo, so it gets an automatic pass.

I liked this more than Asteroid City, I felt Asteroid was rather quaint (the phoenician scheme had some nice comedy that made laugh outloud more than once at least) especially since we are seeing a self aware theatre show, I think the meta aspect makes the whole thing weightless.

Anyway back to the French dispatch, which I enjoyed as an anthology of stories, I thought the kidnapping was grim, I mean the fact that they poison everyone in the kidnapper's den, why highlight the hoe with the blue lights, give her a scene only to have her die like that?

>watches a wes anderson movie
>gets upset that there's quirkiness and whimsy in it
staggering levels of retardation on display here
