It's a bad film with a decent OST and massively sanitised (White) Paris.

>>219773688I just saw it again over the weekend and it's just a wonderful film. Audrey Tatou has never been better (though she has been more naked in other films, much to our collective enjoyment). The soundtrack is often cited but the director really knew what he was doing. He did a Q&A at a screening some years ago and it was great to hear him talk about how the film was made (sometimes that can detract from films for me but here it was just interesting).

Other than Amelie, other Audrey Tatou films I'd recommend are A Very Long Engagement (if you think Amelie is boring you will likely hate this film even more) and Priceless. The latter is a big step down in terms of quality but Audrey is great. Engagement is a really great film but it's so fucking sad I don't watch it very often.
