Fuck lawyers. Scum of the earth. Worse parasites than finance bros.

This movie sucked so fucking bad. Zoomers pretending it was a masterpiece was cringe

I've never seen anyone call Illumination Lorax a masterpiece. There were memes about it in like 2016-2017 that I always thought were basically making fun of how corny but also soulless this shit was. Nostalgia Critic has an actually excellent review of this piece of shit, he got extremely mad about it and for good reasons.

Nah around that time there was way too much Onceler(?) porn and fanfiction

That's like 2012-2014 which is still the time of millenials not zoomers. Only oldest of zoomers experienced this period of the internet, 1997-2002 birth years. And some of them were still to young to properly integrate with the communities. Onceler being a Tumblr sexyman is a millenial thing. Also I 'm not even sure if those women jerking off to him even liked the actual film as a whole.

No I distinctly remember that being a thing in 2016, secondly most millennials were already over shit kids movies like these

I remember it being earlier, maybe you saw some residue of that but it peaked in like 2013-2014. By 2016 you already had this movie being "rediscovered" in an ironic way with those memes "let it grow but every time they say let it grow it cuts to 9/11" stuff which was lolrandum humour but obviously with an element of making fun of how cringe the film itself is.
