I loved X-Files when I was a kid. They aired it every Friday night, it was a treat. My favorite were the mythology episodes. Unfortunately this show doesn't hold up. The movie sort of does, rewatched it recently, but I think it's because the stepped up the quality for the movie.

Scully was never particularly hot, btw, but she was good for the part.
