whats with a lot of actresses becoming known in their 30s now? like Hepburn was 24 in Roman Holiday, Grace Kelly was 25 in Rear Window, Margot Robbie was 23 in Wolf, Hathaway was 19 in Princess Diaries, Portman was 19 in the prequels. I can name off hand like the last 5 biggest new stars all became famous at 30+ and wasted their prime
>>
Name 5 please. Emily still seems pretty unusual to me.

Need some additional time to slut it up in your 20s, then focus on your career in your 30s, then children in your 40s

Margaret Qualley
Jessica Chastain
Aubrey Plaza
Kristin Wiig
Emily Rudd
>>
Anna Sawai is another example

Seems like the thread to ask... why doesn't Emily have any simps?
Seriously.
Go into a "Last of Us" thread and you'll get a ton of images of Bella Ramsey looking "cute".
Go into a "Netflix Pirates" thread and there's zero images of Emily besides gooners spamming her singular bikini shot.

Ana de armas was in so much shit after hitting her 30s

Sharon Stone and Naomi Watts were already past 30 when they became famous.

because hollywood knows roasties on social media will rage and seethe about pretty actresses in their 20s
>>
The casting couch is no more so there are no quick ways to stardom
>>
Because people are generally hitting milestones later in life due to economic circumstances. It's true for marriage, having kids, buying houses, etc.

I'd argue there's more stiff competition now (pun intended) so they have to work harder to get ahead.

Zoomie detected. Emily had a ton of simps 15 years ago in her late teens/early 20s. She was popular on the internet before the whole e-thot thing went into overdrive

I've been simping for Emily since I discovered her on /s/ in 2011. I put her as my phone lock screen wallpaper and told everyone she was my girlfriend because nobody knew who she was.

Margaret Qualley should not be on that list. She had a good role in the critically acclaimed show The Leftovers when she was 20. A mild role in The Nice Guys. Third billing in Death Note shortly after that and fifth billing in a Tarantino movie behind DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.

Getting her first main role in a big budget critical and commercial success movie at 30 seems like very normal pacing.

She has had simps on /tv/ for well over a decade. The fact that she's 33 with /tv/ still lusting after her proves she is beautiful. Normally /tv/ goes from actress to actress once they hit 25.
