This season mostly sucks because compared to doing actual medicine so much screen time is dedicated to everyone being a wreck and having personal shit, but then since it's still one shift they can't get explicit payoff for stuff like Robby getting talked out of suicide or Mohan and her mommy issues and the rest and have to resort to symbolic scenes like Robby and the baby.

Season 1 felt like more happened. Santos had way more wins and got Langdon dismissed, now all she does is complain. We had the school shooter, the Pittfest shooting, Robby's meltdown, the birth of Huckleberry's nickname, everyone got a full proper crashout.This season we get... Al Sashimi and her 10 second silent seizures, the TV's turning off and Asian lady remembering all the names on the board, uh... Langdon teasing he is going to kill himself for 12 episodes just to cry that being a doctor is le hard. Oh and the ICE storyline which goes nowhere at all (the nurse has been forgotten about entirely)First season felt the format fit the story they were telling, this season the plot felt more like a slower typical streaming drama with cheap cliffhangers at the end of every episode

Every patient had a 0.01% twist diagnosis or some shit, everyone either wants to fuck each other or kill each other, the biggest event a city's history just happens on everybody's first day, etc. They dialed up everything to 11 at all times. Season 2 felt like the hangover of season 1. It still had its moments but they had to up the intensity and it felt more abated. Not a bad season though, the conflicts just weren't as exciting.
Mohan's exit didn't feel like an exit. Some shit behind the scenes happened.
