>"Footnote to Murder" (Season 1, Episode 18)
In this episode, Jessica travels to New York for a literary awards ceremony. The plot centers on a poet named Horace Lynchfield who is accused of murdering a wealthy, famous author. The central conflict involves an unpublished manuscript and the discovery that the "great" author was actually using a ghostwriter (and stealing credit).

The trailer with Dakota and Anne kissing was a good engagement trick to get twitter talking about something besides it being a Colleen Hoover adaptation. I think Housemaid numbers are the goal now whereas before I thought $500 million would be easy because I underestimated how many people blame Hoover in the Lively-Baldoni fiasco and I do think Hathaway is overexposed this year. Dakota will need to have an MVP type press tour like she had last year with Materialists to overcome a couple trends against Verity. Either way I think it still smashes Wuthering Heights on half the budget, lol.
