Haven't really kept up with The Boys but from what I understand the 5th and final season seems to be holding up well but I had a thought....https://youtu.be/XNQbH1SDPRk?si=XMaKMS0bbYRUtsHDWouldn't it have been interesting if they decided to end the show by leading it into a feature film to end it on an epic scale?Kinda like what they did with with Transformers The Movie, G.I. Joe The Movie and Neon Genesis Evangelion? It's what I wish more shows would do, especially Swamp Thing, which got cut down to 10 episodes instead of 13 because the tax rebates they got from North Carolina were reduced. I would have taken the last three episodes and reworked them into a feature film and had James Wan, who was also an Executive Producer on the show, Direct it while we know he loves Horror and has deep roots in the genre with his involvement with the Saw/Conjuring/Insidious franchises and even knocked out Malignant in-between his Aquaman films, with the first one being the only movie within the DCU to gross over 1 billion (same as what he did with Furious 7 of the Fast & Furious franchise) and DC based property overall apart from The Dark Knight Rises.https://youtu.be/Gczt0fhawDs?si=awUQUhszxWn6aZvGWhile he's also a fan of H.P. Lovecraft and even references The Dunwich Horror in Aquaman with a copy of the novella seen amongst a stack of books. But it's the scene where Aquaman and Mera reach the trench where Wan shines as Arthur and Mera have to fend off an army of fishmen monsters. https://youtu.be/Pq_GFlOXobY?si=mJoFgVygwoT9PPbl
>>219832724Where was I, definitely not in bed with Laura Gemser ;_; Anywho, these were just some thoughts I had to have The Boys go out in spectacular fashion and just hope that they didn't shit the bed (unless you're into that, no judgment) like other shows have done, particularly Games of Thrones that was ruined in season 8 and almost universally despised. Whatever, while did you know that it was recently revealed that Rod Serling had adapted Lovecraft's The Shadow Over Innsmouth for The Twilight Zone and was considered a "lost" episode, as nothing of it remains apart from the opening while you can understand why the network didn't want to air it based on Serling's opening monologue.....https://jumpshare.com/share/07QF8XQwqHQxzP6Wg0r0!!!FACT!!!
