Watching Gone Girl. Am I going to like it? I sort of do like it so far.
Good flick anon
>>219833988Ah cool. I'm overdue for some kino.
i like it. afflecks character is very relatable to me, unlikable and not a great boyfriend (just like me)
>>219834331He's not unlikeable until the last scene. Double Jeopardy did it better.
>>219834372Yeah for most of the movie I just thought his character was kind of pathetic. Also this movie was the first time I saw Emily Rat-whatshername and of course she got nekkid. Kek.
>>219834372>>219834395a key theme of the movie is he's very unlikable, and not a great husband, which makes him look guilty of a crime he didn't commit. he cheated on her, pushed her, forgets important things to her, leaches of her financially.
>>219834465He's not unlikeable. You are listening to what women say instead of watching how they act. The only person in the movie who doesn't like him is the lower tier male police officer. If he was meant to be portrayed as unlikeable he was poorly cast and directed. Doogie was extremely unlikeable in comparison.
>>219835090i mean they pretty much explicitly point it out, the "smile" scene, the media talking about his affair, and so forth.
OP HERE. THIS MOVIE IS INSANE. I GOT HIGH WHILE WATCHING IT AND HOLY SHIT
>>219835296Again that is all performative. Try asking some women if they'd fuck him in that movie. Also ask them what they think about Doogie who is the rich savior who doesn't do anything objectionable.
>>219835783not saying they wouldn't fuck him but as a group people didn't like nick dunne. not even just women, but men also (and not just the cop). he was made out to be evil on tv.
>>219835819This is all subjective tho. One girl in the crowd around the second press conference said he was cute.
>>219833970Keep in mind to take enough breaks while watching. If you've already watched ten minutes consider continuing tomorrow. binging a whole movie can be very taxing
>>219833970It's fun, but the police work is horrendous. This movie doesn't happen with any semi decent investigators
>>219836682haven't watched it for a long time but don't they figure out pretty quickly that the crime scene with the wiped away blood had to be staged?
Wow, that was excellent. I put it off for so long because I didn't like the title. Never judge a movie by it's title.
>>219836894>because I didn't like the titleare you retarded?which part of "gone girl" didnt you like?gone?girl?
>>219836923Girl, cause he's a fag.That'd be my bet.
>>219836679Nah I could have binged this easy but I took a couple of smoke breaks. I love crime movies. This bitch was devious. He loved her at first but she had to over complicate things and she started right off the bat about it because she's smart and manipulative and autistic af. She saw which way the wind was blowing early on. Dialogue in this was decent. Compelling but not wholly realistic. Did Tyler Perry really uplift this movie? Felt like he was supposed to but his line delivery was flat to my ear. I'm a dialogue whore and I know these things instinctually. Ben emotes and acts reactive, a bit unusual for him as usually he's the tough guy, sometimes even with sensibilities. The female lead was brill. She disturbed me in two parts in this movie and I'm as tough as nails usually. Got anything else crime ridden, tv?
>>219836923>>219836947Nah, it was a book first and it just sounds vague and generic to me.
>>219833970It's interesting how easy it is to spot an incel even from one completely unrelated sentence. You just reek of inceldom.
>>219835375Not cool>>219836894Now you, I like
>>219836923Sounds like it's for women, and it is. Still watchable but you will have a very different view than intended.
>>219837038Double Jeopardy is the same premise.Basic Instinct is must watch.Wild Things is also.Arlington RoadSide EffectsSwimming PoolA Simple FavorThe AccusedThe HousemaidThe VoyeursSleepers tangentally related.
>>219836923I think that anon was referring the pic posted, which is Christy McNichol and Tatum O'Neal from Little Darlings.
