Lynch draws ideas from the collective unconscious during meditation and constructs the show (and his other work) out of them. When we watch his movies we're watching our own dreams.

I usually re-watch Twin Peaks (and usually just S1 and S2 when I do) 2-3 times a year. But this year, I rewatched all three seasons and Fire Walk With Me AND all the specials (interviews/behind the scenes - for season 3 both the Richard Beymer films and the "nepo baby tries to leech of Lynch's popularity to start his own career" documentaries) TWICE already. First time was all in January, second time was end of March + season 3 (one episode a day, finished today) in April.

I think it might be a sign of incoming Alzheimer's/midlife crisis.

Does the sped up ("allergy"? I think that's how you say that in I-talian?) version of "Heartbreaking" exist somewhere? Outside of the credits after the Mitchum brothers make out with Dougie? I genuinely thought that it was just a piano version of a famous song composed by someone else when I first heard it.

So lemme get summin straight. Judy is an ancient Sumerian demon named Joudy whose marriage to Ba'al (BOB) would bring about an anti-christ figure and lead the world to ruin. Sarah Palmer was infected/possessed by Judy when she was a child, which gave her psychic powers. Leland was possessed by BOB sometime before he met Sarah. They had Laura, who was supposed to be the anti-christ but the gypsies above the convenience store knew about this. They tried to stop BOB but failed and then in a desparate bid gave Laura a ring that trapped her soul in the Black Lodge with them, preventing her from becoming the anti-christ. BOB figures it out and kills her out of rage. Judy then set a plan in motion to create a Tulpa of Laura to act in Laura's stead, a tabula rasa of sorts. BOB possesses Coop to keep tabs on the FBI and what they know. FBI Agent Jeffries figures this out and travels through time to stop all of this but completely fails. GG evil wins
