They're all mega woke, but they're the only classic whodunnit films made nowadays so I watch them despite the woke shit. And the quality of the source material still shines through for a comfy enough watch.

Where's the fourth one, Branagh?

>source material
>haunting in Venice
Nani

Ironic how the best movie has the least to do with its source.
>>
>>219839386
The last knives out is better then those 3 movies combined
Conversely, the 2nd knives out is worse than at least Nile and Hunting in venice
>>
>>219839386
I haven't seen murder, didn't much care for Nile, but haunting in Venice I consider comfy Halloween kino. Beautifully shot and set too.
>>219839474
Redpill me on dead man anon, without spoiling if you please? The 2nd is one of the worst films I have ever seen, but I did like the first (but only because I have a different read on it than the writers intended)
>>
I'd put Knives Out 3 and Haunting in Venice on equal footing.
Knives Out 3 is more engaging, but Haunting in Venice has better atmosphere.
>>
>>219839547
Curious what other read there is besides Great Replacement propaganda.

>Redpill me on dead man anon, without spoiling if you please?
If the overall morals of 1 is "family bad, immigrants good", the 3rd could be "priests bad, religion/faith good", which elevates this movie to kino levels.
The mistery is ongoing so it's also better, because it evolves and keep you guessing.
In my opinion it's the best of all 3, and not joking also better than the poirot movies

Essentially I thought Ana's character was actually the highest iq master manipulator one and was hoodwinking everyone else by using their liberal blind "positive" racism against them, including Daniel Craig's character and the old man who she was the nurse for. This would explain a few plot holes in the movie where ana lies but doesn't vomit, and that's because she doesn't actually need to. Also she did recognize the medicine was incorrect and used it anyway knowing full well she had already manipulated the old man into being in his will. That's why the ending shot is so poignant, because she finally lets her mask fall and gloats over her win which I thought was really hot at the time btw. I was convinced my take on the movie was what was intended until I went online and saw I apparently lack media literacy. Tbf I was possibly blinded by expecting a deeper mystery/smarter movie and finding Ana hot, but it did make the movie way more enjoyable so I stand by my headcanon.

Thanks anon, I'll add it to my watchlist.

>knives out
are those directed by that woke faggot? never watching
>>

Your penis lied to you.
>>
>>219839386
add those shitty "Knives Out" movies to this list, horrible movies

>devout catholic MC
>but he's like super hip and liberal because he's from the big city, not like the rest of these older nazi priests!
>oh also he breaks the seal of confession a bunch, like for no real reason at all
>he's just writing down everything that's been spoken before anyone's even died
>then he reads it all verbatim to blanc despite none of it being relevant to the case
This whole movie is pretty damn spiteful to catholicism and christianity, you're out of your mind if you think this is better than even nile.

I watched Haunting in Venice with my mom.
It was so fucking boring.
>>
>but they're the only classic whodunnit films made nowadays so I watch them despite the woke shit.
why not just watch the older versions?
>>
>>219842255
Would. That was only a part of the reason for my interpretation, if that's what you meant.
>>
>>219839474
I'm sorry that you thought the second part of your post balanced out the first part, but it did not

Religion isn't good, rian Johnson making that stupid point doesn't make him cool. He just knows that that's what you're gonna think. "Oh wow he actually respects religion, He just doesn't like bad people! He's actually a good person! It's just submitting to the concept of ideology being valid in general (because of wokeness) while also maintaining plausible deniability for being able to point fingers after the fact
rian Johnson is literally just a person who takes advantage of culture. It's like hes a wannabe jew.
>>
>>219842560
i watched it with my mom and liked it
>>
>>219843973
Balancing what? The fuck are you talking about
>>
>>219844672
You said something stupid and outlandish, and then tried to balance it out by saying something people would think is rational
imagine watching the first two knives out and somehow deciding to watch the third
>>
>>219844012
The movie is anti-Christian; not anti-religion.
There's a difference.
>>
>>219844755
so its just as pathetic as i said?
rian johnson isnt talented or clever
watch brick and the brothers bloom and tell me he deserves a fucking career LMFAO
