How did they predict all that shit 9 years before?
>>
>>219839394

>movie shows people actually quarantining and it works
>real life forces people to put in 90% of the effort and expense of quarantining while following rules that make the quarantine worthless

>movie warns against relying on a miracle cure that won't work
>real life the entire world forces everyone to use a miracle cure that doesn't work

>movie doesn't say anything about how big corporations make trillions from the crisis
>real life they make trillions from the crisis
>>
>>219839394
It was predictive programming. Media is used to get the collective conscious comfortable with certain ideas. Media is used to program people, that is why it used to be literally called paid programming. Having a TV in your house is like having a Jew in your living room.

>lets do nothing when dozens of old people are in the grocery stores socializing every day, even though there are signs flat out saying "don't bring children" and employees harassing young parents of infant children just trying to stock up in between shifts at work and daycare
>no wait i know what we can do, we'll do SENIOR HOUR first thing in the morning
>now we have 2 hundred old people in one place for an hour, all socializing at once

>what the FUCK do you think you are doing, visiting a healthy 20 year old friend at home as a healthy 20 year old? are you trying to kill everyones grandparents?

4 years and i've yet to recover from it all

Because the average human is highly predictable. It's only a few autists who step out of the box.

I remember situations at work. Had to be bested each morning before I was allowed to work. Had to wear a god damn chin diaper mask all they long BUT once we were in a meeting or were eating in the lunch room we somehow were allowed to sit right next to each other without a mask. make it make sense.

The summer of floyd was basically the catalyst to everyone realizing how batshit insane it is. The same people that were yelling trust the science and don't leave your house for 2 weeks were protesting in large groups because the virus wasn't racist

Not even the dancing plague of Europe was that batshit insane

my bosses closed the lunchroom for being too dangerous to use, forcing employees to take breaks in their car or in a hallway facing a wall like we were in time out.
the managers crowded into an office with no masks and ate lunch together as always.

had to wipe every surface as often as possible but you were NOT allowed to criticize a customer for pulling down their mask to cough in their hand before handing you something.
our safety was bottom priority and the perceived safety of the customer was prime directive. but in personal life it was COVID IS SO DANGEROUS YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ASKING YOUR NEIGHBOUR FOR A CUP OF SUGAR.
I never bought into the scamdemic but the blatant favouritism and hypocrisy was too much to bear

how about you were forced to stay at home by the state as long as you are unvaxxed and you were not obliged to a salary during that time. some people lost jobs(and their livelihood) during that time. germany btw and I am sure other european countries used similiar nazi methods. also it was more than just a few weeks lol

>the city mayors were constantly yelling for a lockdown- something pretty much only the president can do and only if when china attack

This did not stop bunch of mayors from the opposite party yelling for it

Nothing crazy like getting arrest in UK while walking on street
>>
>>219839800
no one will remember the covidflu because in reality it wasnt that bad. they did some statistical wizardry to make it seem more dangerous than it was. people who died in a car crash but had covid during that time were put into covid related complications and shit like that. its strange how covid related deaths went up by the same number other deaths went down during that time. overall mortality was pretty much the same.

why would anyone wear a mask correctly, the assertion was 'wear a mask', full stop. never 'wear a mask properly'

when shit like picrel was being accepted as a 'mask' there was no question that it was about control and compliance anymore
>>
>>219839858
They last all day. The point is that perfect mask use could have reduced transmission by a few percent, but the kind of mask use that really happened wasn't effective at all and may have even been counter-effective.

People got hysterical about even those who already had a documented case of covid needing to get the injections. They couldn't really explain why someone with naturally acquired immunity needed the shots other than "Belt and Suspenders! Belt and Suspenders!" over and over again until the scary person with natural immunity went away.
>>
>>219839876
The cloth masks that 99% of people wore were already not real masks, virtually every one came in a pack that said 'is not effective at preventing transmission of covid-19'. The recommendation was for n95 masks at a minimum, and 10 feet of distance between masked people, the state decided that was too much, and instead we got laws that forced everyone to follow an ineffective quarantine.

It's not a miracle cure, but it did slow down the spread of the virus and the effects it had on people.
>>
>>219840019
This was from the CDC in early 2020, based on pandemic response plans from before 2020. They decided to ignore prior pandemic response plans to try the 'lockdown' model. They ultimately recommended 6 feet because that would work with the lockdown, so that's all you can find online now.

The reasoning behind the lockdown was that it would still allow people to work, but that it would reduce transmission. It was supposed to be a compromise to keep the economy going (to the benefit of the super-rich and the detriment of normal people), but they sold it as though it would be super-effective so long as people followed the rules (passing the blame onto normal people who couldn't possibly follow the rules perfectly).

You don't remember that they said for more than a year that it was 100% effective at preventing 100% of contraction and transmission of covid? They weren't being retarded at that though, they had the real figures that showed the vaccine didn't work, and they still made official statements that it was 100% effective. If they were being retarded we'd have to say that they are incompetent to recommend medical treatments.

The retarded part is that they destroyed all trust in medical trials in order to take trillions of dollars from taxpayers and give it to big pharma, and the other retarded part is that they risked all of our lives during a deadly pandemic by focusing all their efforts on a treatment they knew didn't work.

I worked in a large retail store during peak Covid and I can confirm this level of Reddit mod larp existed. There was always an “elite” group of employees and customers that’s considered themselves the experts and made every attempt to encroach on our lives at the store. My best friend being one of them(though at home, not at work). Every day they’d delivered new information hot off the press from a rage bait news headline. 6 feet is now 10 feet, oh wait, now it’s 4. You need 2 masks, or actually 3. No, now you need a cloth mask with BB-8 or baby yoda on it. Every day was some dumb new rule that everyone would try for about 5 minutes until it became completely impractical to maintain. So everyone would just drop it. Once the jab came out and everyone had it, it was hard to watch them try to keep the power trip going. The vast majority of people went back to normal, but the life moderators struggled, they desperately wanted the pandemic to continue so they could maintain social control. It was a wild time and almost lost my best friends and parents to the faggotry

It’s scary how badly people want to be in a position where they enforce government policy and inform on their friends. Not even for money or privileges. Simply the pleasure of wielding the smallest amount of power over their peers. You couldn’t train people to do a better job monitoring people. You simply need to ask for volunteers and offer them the equivalent of a hall monitor sash and set them loose.

I think it really affects people that don’t have much in their life. We all have a desire to be strong and important. However most people will never naturally achieve that through hard work and effort. So they bide their time until some sort of soft authority allows them to enforce some arbitrary rule. Basically HOAs and neighborhood watches. Then they can play out their fantasy to full effect.

>>219839394
Really sad that people never saw the opportunity to struggle as a country and do the same thing, increasing social cohesion and feeling a sense of destiny. If everyone died because of them, they would probably say "who was to know but I hate masks ACK"

the president slurring hopeful promises when information was fresh just isn't the same as official statements. The biggest problem with the pandemic was the blind faith in news media when everyone could go and learn to read the studies
>>
>>219839394
After SARS 1 in 2003, "researchers" funded by various governments to ostensibly "race for a cure against emerging coronaviruses" (MERS, using "humanized mice") never stopped. When making viruses more virulent to humans was briefly banned, the "research" was outsourced to Wuhan lab. Remember accusing countries of harboring bioweapon as why you get to invade them, does not apply to your own bioweapon "research". Gulf war syndrome was even from the anthrax "vax" mandated on troops.
>>
>>219839479
Rules for Thee but top politicians could party with each other, and unmask in photo-opps while the "help" and minors must wear masks.
>>
>>219841703
Yeah there is certainly a toxic element to it. Possibly involving narcissistic people. People that have both the need to be important and the need to have power over people. My best friend however was being insufferable because his crazy mother got in his head and really psyched him out into thinking people were dying off in the millions. Plus he was full Trump Derangement Syndrome so any good news would be instantly discarded to maintain to hysteria. He was always on edge and just associated anyone that stepped out of line as being a crazy maga supporter.
>>
>>219841763
I agree that the president making claims isn’t the same as an official report from the manufacturer. However during the pandemic the line between private medical research groups and the government was non existent. Government basically had total control over these pharma companies due to the insane funding. It’s safe to assume their statements will go hand in hand.

>>219841763
The official news sources were sharing these 'hopeful promises' as though they were scientific fact, while demonizing and suppressing any alternate news sources that cited the real studies, that was the problem.

Should normies really be expected to 'do their own research' on these things? There are plenty of people who read the real studies and came away with the impression that they showed a safe and effective treatment, when the data in those studies showed the exact opposite.
>>
>>219841844
Funny I also differ from your pal despite going through a shitty time in life as I argued with my mother quite a bit over the vaccine. I didn't even say anything remotely schizo, purely used the basic common sense that these companies under tremendous political and public pressure to shit out a magic cure = speed running the process cause of that and the fact there are plenty of precedents of the various companies screwing up in the past = something with unforeseen consequences may hit the market, so to speak

NTA but I’ll also add even if you do read official findings, scientific research is so easy to manipulate you have to be super skeptical. Exactly what I tried to explain to my mother and others. The vaccine was fast tracked so much there was no way to know if it was dangerous. And whatdya know, the JJ vaccine was pulled for not being safe after millions of people rushed to get it. Still my mother went behind my back and pressure my wife to push me into it. I eventually had to get it to keep my job. I had just moved into a new apartment had really depended on that job otherwise I probably would have refused.

Like we would only need to lockdown for 15 days, or if you get vaccinated you can't catch covid or spread covid.

This. I likely got covid right before it was announced. Got over it in like 2 days. So for the entirety of COVID I never got sick again. So all my friends and family that got vaxxed immediately got horribly sick while I’m going out in public ever chance I had and never got so much as a cough. I’ll forgive but never forget

One neat trick is with the '95% effective' stuff. Any regular person reading this, anyone who just saw it on the news, would interpret this as '95% effective at preventing covid'. And then when the 'experts' on panel shows are discussing it, or when they're interacting with callers from the public, they'll push this as the scientific truth.

But in fact it was referring to '95% effective at creating a measurable impact on the outcomes from covid infection'. This could mean that in 95% of subjects, it reduced the likelihood of them contracting covid, getting sick, or dying, by something like 1%. The way to explain this to a normie would be to say it's '1% effective', since they will only understand 'effective' as meaning 'prevents covid', but a normie wouldn't normally take a 1% effective vaccine.

But now the definition of vaccine has been degraded in the public consciousness so much that they can market vaccines that are only slightly effective.

>>219842064
Heck if it's for old people who were really vulnerable, I'd say sure, take the fast-tracked vaccine. It's a risk but it seemed like it was worth it, and at the end of the day it's up to the vulnerable people themselves to choose which risk to take. But then they switched up the rhetoric from 'we need to fast-track the vaccine to get it to vulnerable people, and then everyone else can go back to normal' (reasonable, maybe a little panicky) to 'we need everyone to get vaccinated or everyone will die'.

People who pointed out that the covid vaxx wasn't anything like a normal vaccine were not 'anti-vaxxers' though. They were almost all people who believed in the science of vaccines and were in favor of mass vaccination using effective vaccines. The media response actually increased the influence of real anti-vaxxers by forcing them all into the same groups.

And what is worse is that they knew this would bolster the anti-vaxx movement, but this was considered to be fine when trillions of dollars of profits were at stake.

at the very beginning i think their motivation was to not let anti vax narratives take hold but i agree it quickly changed to there being legitimate concerns meaning you couldn't lump everyone together as antivax

It’s crazy how the plot of Ebola Syndrome is actually plausible.
If you watch the movie you might get a bit confused because both Hong Kong and South Africa are both British colonies. It’s also a body horror movie, so it might be disturbing.
