Why did he only play in schlock after the 80s? He was an outstanding actor. He didn't want to suck the right dick or perform the correct ritual or something?
>>219869840because hes a
>>219869840Zoomers don't relize it, but Blade Runner was a flop. It didn't become appreciated until mid-90s
>>219870394He's a what?
>>219870606A hobo with a shotgun
>>219869840He knew that performance couldn't be topped so he didn't even bother trying.
>>219870606C Beam glittering in the dark
>>219869840holywood mutts have been systematically discriminating against non-mutts for decades
>>219870642He was still great in The Hitcher for example though
>>2198705941992 when the dc was released
>>219870672>mutts it’s okay anon, you can call them what they really are. Be brave and the truth will set you free
Surviving the Game was kino imho
>>219871322Jews look white though
His role in "Sin City" was extremely creepy.
>>219869840Flesh and Blood is his best work.He recounted a memory in his autobiography of riding a motorcycle off the set of a scene into the desert and racing kangaroos, almost got lost. The same haunting quality his performances had come through in that book.
idk but the hitcher is kino
>>219869840>He didn't want to suck the right dick or perform the correct ritual or something? This is always the answer.
>>219871223>>219874817Based Hitcher appreciators https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz5pNHxEKXo
>>219874817>>219871223fucking BASED. Top 3 performances by him.
>>219871223hell yeah
>>219871322It's mulattos that run Hollywood and those sneaky mestizos and hapas and quadroons
Any Rutger fan should play Observer System Redux. It's voiced by Rutger where he's a futuristic detective interviewing residents in an apartment complex and looking for clues to solve crimes
A Breed Apart with Kathleen Turner, some hot shit and high art. Donald Pleasance plays a rare egg dealer. ARE YOU NOT SOLD?
It's a Euro thing in general. They don't really take themselves as seriously as American actors do, and follow the money. Lots of beloved actors like Christoper Lee and Tim Curry have mostly trash filmography, even if they were great in it.
I'm a big fan of Split Second, personally. https://archive.org/details/split-second_202406
>>219877204Variety said the film "lacks reason, dramatic tension or emotional involvement."[3]
Have jews ever treated blond actors fairly?
>>219877444No Ivan this isn't about the jews either.
>>219877486It's about the jews reddit man
>>219877486Rest assured that anything even tangentially related to the film industry involves jews.
>It's just not fair, father.>There there, my boy. Come, let's play some chess together.
>>219877504>>219877572yes Ivan we know you fetishize jews.

Money only came in from acting in schlock. Don't blame him solely his agent just never got him the right stuff!
>>219877422That describes the very best movies ever made. Variety probably disliked the love scene.
>>219877985Redford is a blond and made his mark. Even started his own film festival. I'll give you that one. Paul Newman is a jew that is not blond.
>>219877444Hollywood did more to shill the blonde and blue look more than just about any other industry. Jews love blondes.
>>219877591It's difficult to imagine that two intelligent adult men could have had this correspondence game's position laid out on their boards in their private living quarters for at least several hours, and more likely a few days or weeks as a cordial way to pass the time, and neither one of them saw or could even intuit the mate in two. It took a "super-genius" replicant to see the move.Tyrell's set also looked extremely fancy, and this may have been a distraction in itself.
Rutger saved Blade Runner from that idiot Ridley Scott who went all in on Christ imagery, it would be unbeliveable schlock if a competent actor wasn't doing all those stigmata / dove / nail bits.I still haven't watched Floris. But most of his 80s work was outstanding. He was one of influences for Guts, with that fantastic Flesh and Blood movie. Ladyhawke is also quality, and fantasy is by far the weakest movie genre. Then he has that great Jugger post-apoc movie that is really unique and would benefit from a sequel.
The Mill & The Cross
>>219870606a miserable little pile of secrets
>>219878091It also makes you wonder why Tyrell didn't ask, "Couldn't we have done this over the phone?" Surely phones still exist in the BR universe.
>>219878446>Ladyhawke is also qualitythisit was that lazy sunday afternoon movie on TV that glued you to your couch
>>219879404Yes, they exist. Tyrell is on the phone talking to his trading broker when Sebastian shows up. He even asks why Sebastian would be at the door at that late hour. But he's intrigued that Sebastian must have a good reason for coming in person and trusts Sebastian. The real question is why security wouldn't alert him that there is a second passenger in the elevator. They had cameras everywhere.
>>219879404>Surely phones still exist in the BR universe.only landlineyou fucking millenials+ are such utter slaves to your demon bricks, it's funny if it weren't so satanic
>>219869840>FTW no Blind Fury TV showIt would have been so god damn kino
>>219878446Harrison Ford too. He hated the narration that appeared in the theatrical cut. Most people now have seen the Final Cut which is superior. The theatrical cut is cringe.
>>219879660Test audiences said the movie was too hard to follow so they added the wretched narration and happy ending.
>>219873034Maybe to some women and young children I guess...
>>219879660Ford intentionally did a wooden, bad job on the voice-over stuff, hoping that it might be cut. Of course, the suits came in and loved it, so it stayed. The final shots recycled some of that Shining mountain stuff, shot around the same time. The voice-over technique is sometimes maligned (Blade Runner being a popular nerd example on same), but where Kubrick is concerned, although his best film 2001 did not employ the technique, the voice-over is used in most of his films, and nobody bats an eye, because it serves the narrative, the stage-setting.
>>219880663Voice over narration in itself isn't bad. The Shawshank Redemption uses it to great effect for example. But the narration for Blade Runner was really bad, for the reasons you mentioned.
>>219879539Glad to see some Ladyhawke love itt.
>>219880782It depends a lot on the quality of the writing. Using voiceover as a crutch because the story you've written is incomprehensible is bad, as opposed to using it to provide context and commentary (Shawshank) or framing (Double Indemnity), or both (Sunset Blvd).
>>219869840Was he in a Star Trek episode or few, or am I thinking of someone else?
>>219877101>Bloober TeamEverything that i tried from them has this meticulously crafted bland and shit gameplay that bores anyone. But it's done to perfection, a perfect mediocrity. I don't know how they manage to do it. Its flat mid, no ups but no downs, just boredom. Impressive once you think about it. Layers of Fear and Chronos, all so aggresively mid, it like they're hypnotizing you. MK Ultra stuff.
>>219870594actually that's been debunked
